    I would LOVE to see a video on the flight unit!! I've been considering homeschooling my son whos highly functioning on the autism scale and his obsessionnis becoming a pilot. I was racking my brain already on how I could incorporate learning that interest into his homeschool curriculum and would love a little inspo video on that unit specifically!! ❤✈️

    Wow homeschooling in Pennsylvania is intense. Washington is super low key in comparison. Now I'm not sure if I want to move to PA 😝

    I'm in Pa as well and we are getting ready for our evaluation in two weeks, Lord willing. To avoid being overwhelmed with picking out paper at the end of the year; before one of our breaks start ( Fall Break/Spring Break & Summer Break) we go through the work and put it inside of the binders. Now that our year is almost over our binders are 2/3 filled 😃.

    Thank you bunches . We are in Pa also. Just wrapping up & getting ready for eval. Wow, I'm glad I've never had to wait for a letter from our district . That wouldn't feel good . We either have everything ( end year docs from evaluation etc) handed into district or not . It's just black & white. We have had marked issues from district . We are placing prayer over that situation to be graceful from now on . Thanks again , now you & your lovely family enjoy a safe & happy summer.

      You’re welcome!! We don’t necessarily need to wait for the letter from the district, but it’s always nice to receive one confirming that they received all the necessary documents👍🏻 It’s pretty much up to the evaluator to sign off or not☺️ I’m sorry it hasn’t been super smooth for you! That’s an extra challenge! I pray you’re able to enjoy your summer very soon also!☀️

    In our state we have to turn in a report for review and last November I wasn’t required to as we hadn’t been there for a year but this November will be my 1st year end review!!! In the U.K. there was no requirements!!! We use the same person that we used for the planing application for our house as she’s now in the education department in the state!!! We have to use someone in the education department of state government!!! We give kids ages I believe!!! We did when we registered to homeschool in our state!!! We have to show hours and/or progress!!! I’ve not thought of a reading log!!!

      A report!! Interesting! It's always intriguing to me how different areas are required to record so differently! Thanks for sharing🙂

    Hello. I’m glad I found your channel. I’m also in Pennsylvania. This is my first time officially homeschooling. Is it true you don’t have to teach all subjects every year?

    • @worldofweeze
      @worldofweeze  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Congratulations on officially homeschooling! That's an exciting step! PA guidelines do ask that you touch on each of the required subjects each year, once your child is 6 years old and record keeping begins. However, it is up to you and your learning structure as to how many days/weeks through the year you want to teach certain subjects. For example, in our typical homeschool week, we do our main subjects (LA, Math, Bible, Reading...) at least 4 days a week. Art, Health, Music and the extras are usually one day a week, with a mix of other small projects throughout the week as a family. History, Science and Spanish are usually 3-4 times a week. It all depends on your kid's ages and interests and how you would like to structure your day to days🙂

    Has anyone successfully passed multiple evaluations?
    Are the evaluators mental case HOA type people or are they actual human beings?

    • @worldofweeze
      @worldofweeze  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have personally never heard of anyone not passing their evaluations. They are real people.

      Hi! Thank you! I am glad that you have found them helpful! I found my initial evaluator through a trusted friend, but I also know there are Facebook groups that you can use as a search tool☺
