Bravissimi, belli, eleganti e un vero tenore ed un vero baritono! Se Verdi li potesse ascoltare caccerebbe a calci molti dei loro indegni eredi oggi in attività!!
Magnificent singing with both singers looking thoroughly convincing in the roles of the handsome Spanish Grandees whom they are portraying - it doesn't get much better than this. Bravo Aragall!! Bravo Bruson!!
Please, You, who put six fingers down disliking it, could You send us hire Your Photos? We would like to observe Your sincere faces, just interesting. And give us an advise - who sing this music at all better and in 1984?
Not two of the best. Aragall always sounded a tad tight to my ears. Compared to Warren, Milnes, Herlea, MacNeil at their best (not to mention Bechi, Granforte, Stracciari -- dare we add Ruffo?), Bruson's acuti were at best serviceable. Even so, each is superior to almost anyone in this repertoire hoy en dia.
Seems you like singers producing hot air only, like Kaufmann, so that you can hear him only with a microphone? Does Mario del Monaco also sound a tad tight to your ears? For me this is voice at the best place.
@@stevevandien310 that is what you wrote: "Aragall always sounded a tad tight to my ears" .... that is my answer: Does Mario del Monaco also sound a tad tight to your ears? For me this is voice at the best place. About taste can not be argued. You mention only baritones, so I think that you dont like tenors that sound like tenors ;-)Have you ever heard those singers in a theater without acoustic amplification? I´ve heard Milnes, Mac Neil and Bruson... Milnes had always a very dull voice without gloss for instance with full orchestra you could not hear him, because his voice was not at best place. MacNeil was better, Brusons Voice always clear...
Uno dei duetti più belli composti da Verdi. E' emozionante, se c'è la giusta combinazione di voci che, come qui , si fondono a meraviglia!😍⚘⚘
Deux chanteurs de grande classe...
This here is for me the best production of this opera. I can't get enough of this...
Siempre excelente Aragall y con una voz muy bella.
Aragall, la voz mas bella del siglo XX injustamente olvidado...¡
Überwältigend !
grandissimo Aragall .
