What are your thoughts about this TV? Do you think “lifestyle” TVs are going to become a thing with manufacturers and consumers shifting in that direction?
I do. I feel like with interior design becoming more popular, people will want a TV that more encapsulates their style, whatever that may be. And this SERIF looks like that perfect fit for any style.
Found it!! While viewing the show, click the bottom circle on the Serif remote, a menu appears which includes subtitles options. Can access subtitles for each app this way.
Just bought a 65 inch one. Lovely tv. Put the sound bar on top of the TV. What decision led me to get the tv was that it had a solid WHITE frame around it. Everyone else is committed to selling black bordering tvs, and I am sick of it. Delight to use and to watch.
Thank you for the full review that I needed to know before I buy. do you think all this feature is on the frame TV as well? I like the serif because It has ambient mode while playing music. However, it seems too short. Do you think they have extension legs? For the frame TV, I like its look better than the serif and the downside is, it cannot play music while on an ambient mode like the serif does. Lol. plus the studio stand is an extra 300. Still deciding which one should I buy. Do you have any recommendations?
I tested this for you my friend as I have a 3-year-old toddler...The answer is it will not topple over easily! Unless you place it in the center of a room and have the toddler jump on it. It's flat on the bottom and the base is long and wide(more than 10 inches wide except towards the left and right of the base slightly thinner). In fact, I didn't have use for the other 43" Serif I have and it sat on the floor next to a wall for months and we all pumped into it and it never toppled.
Hey thanks for watching and apologies for the late reply.. I do not like the screen edge bleed (Typical with LED panel TVs). Unnoticeable unless you've seen what OLED TVs look like as they don't have this problem since each pixel is self-illuminating. Other than that the, TV has been a gem when turned on or off.
Looks like the 2020 model based on the remote. I just got a 2022 model a few days ago and it ships with a newer, slimmer remote with solar panel charging on it.
Awesome video and very informative ... What I love most about the TV is its design and features that are akin to the Qled TVs..overall an impressive lifestyle tv
I hear ya! Thanks for the feedback. I'm still learning, it will take time but I try to improve something with every video. Anything in particular you noticed I need to work on?
The edits need to be clean and seamless, your edits and transitions right now are super obtrusive and make me flinch even(not really but you get the point). There's a ton of content to watch to learn about certain things like cinematography and broll that will also elevate the quality as well. Tech channels I would look at for inspiration would be Marques Brownlee, RandomFrankP, and Optimum tech.

Does i connect samsang serif with my mac book for coding

On the Serif can you tell me where to switch on/off subtitles? It’s not in the settings, accessibility. Thanks

How easy is it for this to topple over if just placed on a surface - toddler concerns

does NFC work with an iphone ?
can you plug a DVD player In, then fit the cover back on?
Yes for sure. There are openings on the bottom of the cover to hide cables and snake them through.
Does the 43 inch model also have a dedicated gaming hdmi input?
I am looking at getting the 55 inch.
Good choice. You will love this TV. I believe it's on sale now too.
Great video. Detailed review
Glad you enjoyed it! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for the detailed review, we are considering to get the 55 inch. Are there anything that you dont like about the serif?

How do I get NFC on my phone a?
What kind of phone do you have?
Hi, quick question, is the review based on the 2020 or 2022 Serif TV?
Looks like the 2020 model based on the remote. I just got a 2022 model a few days ago and it ships with a newer, slimmer remote with solar panel charging on it.
Someone help, is it below 5ms and 100% sRGB?
Samsung QLED TVs have 100% color volume . HDMI 2.1 with 120Hz refresh rate for 4K gaming.
Hdmi 2.1 for xbox series x ?
No sure what your question is but yes you can leverage the HDMI 2.1 port to fully take advantage of your xbox x or ps5.
How it looks
