This team is bang average. I think there is a deception that we are much better than we actually are because we’ve been seeing terrible football the last 4 years prior but the fact is we play like a team that been assembled in the school playground. Throwing every player player forward and still not being able to do nothing in front of goal while always leaving your CBs in one on one situations doesn’t make you a good team or even a good team to watch. Ange is very very one dimensional and very easy to set up against for opposing managers he never changes the system and teams have worked us out since the first 10 games. This is just naive football and this team will not win anything significant playing this way you need a balance. I miss the days off poch where we was solid at the back as well as free scoring at the front
Mr Box Office is spot on. Too many below average forward recruitments over the past years. Timo, Danjuma, Bergwijn, Gil, Johnson, Richy. Nobody else in the top 4 would be buying these guys so why do we??

Has this Alex guy just supported Tottenham? I think the real Spurs fan are quite used to this kind of thing and handle it with more resilience. Of course, we upset with the performance but as an overall season, I'd say we've done well so far. C'mon every team has series of up and down along the season, but to me the only thing that matters is where we are in the table after the season ends. The stats after the match showed that Spurs made a massively greater number of passes compared to Newcastle. But to what effect? Where does all this fiddle faddle, pitty pat, round the corner, flick-on stuff get us? Newcastle nailed us with with quick, direct counters, If we are to play Werner and Johnson with chalk on their boots on each wing then for chrissake get the ball to them early so they can turn the opposing defence. Opposition managers have now worked out how to play Tottenham.

This guy is weird, seems to have an inability to control his emotions. People have their own opinions and this guy just went off the rails. No one said that Werner was an excellent finisher, no one has said that he should be our main winger, but he does do a job. And for the price, I would definitely take him. Despite his performance today, he was the only one in the right positions. If you wanna talk about bad performances, Werner is the last player I would be mentioning. Van De Ven had an off day today, fair enough. He is allowed an off day every now and again, being that he has been the pinnacle of our defensive back line for the last however many games. The worst player on the pitch today by far, and I am sorry to all the Korean fans who love him, but it was most definitely Son. Son did not turn up, at all. Son is an absolute worldie, but he has been horribly off form recently, which isn't good considering he is meant to be our striker. If we are going to go anywhere with this team, we need a main striker, another winger that Werner can be switched with and our system needs to be pushed back a bit. The high line only works when we have goal scorers taken advantage of it. If Son isn't on form, then the high line isn't gonna work.

He has some valid points. The outcome of battles usually hinge on turning points. Werner missing goals early in the first half is a turning point. The game would have been different. Spurs may not have one won they wouldn't have been humiliated.

Agreed. Not every manager can magically win every game. They have to take some losses up the chin and move on as long as their main objective in their minds is not being jeopardized. Remember we even have a much more patched up formation than Newcastle but we still got the home win, and then we just ride along the waves after that to stablize our league standing hopes up.

In a word, Enje always has the same tactics. Wingback goes up like mid and sometimes jumps behind that team line, wing digs into the side and ground ball cross shot.
If the build-up is blocked, nothing can be done. Especially, Newcastle's tactic was used today. For Tottenham's goal kick, forward pressure, and two-line defense if they fail to block the build-up. This tactic almost serves as a point vending machine. If two-line defense is difficult to break, play counterattack. Tottenham is not a team that is weak in counterattack. I think you have to get down and counterattack sometimes. They are putting too much pressure on the defensive players. Sometimes Enje has to change his tactics for the team.
I believe spurs are not playing football, all staffs are working for business only.

Last night i changed channel at half time it was not worth get angry over it just showed me how bad we are against good teams even if they are missing their top players through injury . We have 8 games left including the German giants which is only a friendly but i don't see us beating Man city, Arsenal ,Liverpool,Chelsea and Newcastle just there alone are 12 points dropped.
