Hello good brother, 1) before going for Ad Manager setup and ad unit creation, what will I do with my Google AdSense, do have to turn off the auto ad and unarchive the ad? please give me a guideline to go about it thanks
GAM is an Ad server that is used to manage both your Direct Advertisers or Programatic Networks. If you are getting started, its difficult to have contact with direct advertisers. So, in the next video, I have performed the setup of GAM with Adsense Auto + Ad-manager units backfilled by Adsense. You can set up GAM Network to Backfill by Adsense if you don't have any other Ad Networks. I have elaborated this in detail in this video for you: th-cam.com/video/KRtfLh8ksmc/w-d-xo.html In the future video, mostly coming by the end of this week, I will add more demand to the Programatic stack by adding Header Bidding from Amazon and an Out-stream unit called PRIMIS. I will be explaining you on how to reach out to these Networks if you are getting started so keep watching for this space for more. Let me know if you have any further questions. Will be glad to help you!
@@parambhatia51 You have got a new SUBSCRIBER! Waiting for the Header Bidding video. Also, can you tell me what ad networks can be used for header bidding with GAM?
@@mdabusiyam Thanks for the subscription. For Header Bidding, if you are referring to the Prebid implementation, some of the prominent include, Appnexus, OpenX, SpotX. You can explore the Prebid partners here:docs.prebid.org/partners/partners.html However, I will explaining to you in the next video to setup Header Bidding from Amazon. Amazon internally adds the Ad Networks for you so there isn't a need to reach out to them individually like in Prebid. You can apply for Amazon setup here: aps.amazon.com/aps/contact-us/, and hopefully your site should be approved before the next video.
Awesome video and new Sub, but how do you get advertiser? I just create and add code to my website and they will reach out to me? Thank you ahead of time.
Hi, so if you are getting started. Your options will be to integrate Google Adsense and then a Google Ad Exchange MI account followed by a Google Ad Exchange MA account as you grow. Direct Advertisers will reach out to you when you grow your brand, all the premium Publishers make the majority of money by Direct selling.
Thank you, I also googled Ad Ex and found your other video... Very informative. I see I have to wait for google to reach out to offer me the account. So I will continue to build content. I do have another question. Do you have a video on how to add a video with GAM? Thanks again. Keep the videos coming.@@parambhatia51
Hii helpful sharing !!! Can you please tell if we are already using adsense then how to connect adsense with ad manager and what about the adsense codes which are already placed there in header and footer ???
Adsense can be used as a Backfill for your Ad manager Ad-units. All you need to do is enable Ad-unit backfill by turning on the 'Maximize revenue of unsold inventory with AdSense' feature at the Ad-unit level.
@@MyWorld3M If you only want to show Ads of a particular niche from Adsense, then you navigate to Adsense UI, Blocking Controls-> Contents-> Your site -> Manage General Categories. From here you will be able to manage the category of Ads serving via Adsense

Hi Deepak, you will have to sure that DIV ID you pass in the Head exactly matches the one in the Body. This should be identical or else, ,it will not work. Please share me your Ad code and I will help you fix it :-)
You need an Adsense account for Google Ad manager approval. Do you have have one that is fully approved and non-hosted. If, yes. All you need to do is sign-in into admanager.google.com using your primary email on which Adsense was approved.
So we need to replace Google Adsense code with Google ad manager code ? And one more doubt in video you have created only one ad size we have to add add size before placing code
Hi, Bhanu, thanks for watching the video :) If you have many sizes, then you will need to use dfpgpt.appspot.com/ to generate Ad code for all the Ad sizes. You can follow along with this video from Kate(th-cam.com/video/wkmfROkc8uQ/w-d-xo.html). I will create a full tutorial on Adsense to Ad manager migration in the future. You will get 2 sections, of the Ad code. The Head code, you will need to implement in the Head section, if you are using a plugin like Ad inserter or Advance Ads, you will get an option to do so via the plugin or you can insert it in the Header.php file as I explained in this video. Now, regarding the Body codes, you can simply replace them with the Adsense codes on your Website. Please do let me know if you have further questions, will be happy to assist. @karan Patil Hey, Karan. DoubleClick Bid Manager is now Display & Video 360. This is however a Product for Advertisers, which they will use to spend money to meet thier Advertising KPIs and this product isn't free: marketingplatform.google.com/about/display-video-360/ You can learn more about it here. However, if you want to get started with Adverstising, use Google Adwords instead. Display & Video 360 is for the mainstream Advertisers. You don't get Bid Manager with Google Adsense, you only get Google Ad manager with Google Adsense. Let me know if you have further questions, will be happy to help 😀
@@parambhatia51 k thankyou so much... what are main differences between SSP DSP n DMP nAd networks n Ad exchanges is double click for publishers SSP or ad exchange or ad network ? n what are openX n media math ?? and is they need to get use with only DV 360 ? or can use with G ads also. iseen online but still confused..
@@KArANPATIL5095 @karan Patil Initially, the Publishers used to sell inventory directly to the Advertisers. But it's difficult to personally know that the Advertisers ‘Ad Network’ became a middleman that used technology and aggregated the unsold inventory from the Publishers and sold it to Advertisers. Now, with Ad Networks, Advertisers weren't sure of where their Ads were sold, they didn't have control over the Bidding, the CPMs they bought inventory were static. So, Ad Exchange came into picture to solve this problem. Advertisers were able to buy Audiences(using DMP) instead of inventory and they were able to bid on the Publishers inventory in real time(RTB) and had more control. This helped Publishers as well as they were able to serve the highest paying Ad on every bid rather than a static price that was determined by an Ad network. So, simply Ad Exchange is a mutation of an Ad Network with more control. Publishers use SSP(Ad Exchange/Adsense) a Platform that helps Publishers automatically sell inventory over Ad Exchange, whereas DSP (DV 360) is the Technology that buyers use to Buy inventory over Ad Exchange. Using DSP and SSP gives Publishers and buyers more control over buying and selling inventory that they can’t do via an Ad Network. Google Ad manager is an Ad server that comes with SSP (Adsense or Google Ad Exchange). You can use Google Ad manager to manage direct Ads or your Ad Networks Ads and even buy inventory over Ad Exchange(using Google Ad Exchange). Now coming to MediaMath, it's a DSP, whereas OpenX is similar to Google Ad manager, it has an Ad server and SSP for their Ad Exchange. I think this topic deserves a video, so keeping this in the pipeline :-)
Hi..thanks for this great video. In this, you uploaded the creative and set up the ad, is it can be done from the advertiser side, DV360 lets the advertiser create the ads, and based on the order publisher only need to display it right?
Hey Jatin, in this example, I have scheduled an Ad from a Direct Advertiser, which is hosted in Ad manager. However, to serve DV360 Ads, Publisher at their end will schedule an Ad Exchange line item via Google Ad manager. However, for the Open auction via Ad Exchange, any Advertiser ads can serve on the Publishers' end. If from DV360, the Publisher wants to ensure that only a specific Advertiser Ads serves via DV360, then you will have to schedule a Programmatic Guaranteed Deal. Alternatively, for a Direct Deal, you can share Campaign 360 Tags for the Publisher and they can Traffic this as a Direct line item as a Third-party Tag. Let me know if you have further questions, will try my best to clarify your doubts.
