A former world champion won at least one WTTC Singles. Poor Ma Lin never won the WTTC World Singles. Wang Hao did against Wang Liqin. Ma Lin was a triple runner-up. Or else, I would rank him 2nd behind Ma Long in the 40mm ball era.
A true champion is capable to explore the weakness of the opponent then home in to attack. FZD and ML are among the best performers. With consistency, that's how they can stay on top above the others.

XD, how THIS can be good?! the only thing I hear is eeeehhhh, quietness, then something is getting said, and again ehhhh, and she is speaking really slow this means she is thinking very slow. This is so annoying when people are speaking that slow. I can't say anything good about the commentator, because the commentator isn't even telling the whole information.

He could impact the ball with such ferocious spin, ultra-low trajectory and speed that impossible to return, annihilating all incoming shots and serves. However, FZD cleverly returned short pushes inside table (down 4 -6) to disrupt LYJ's rhythm and won the first game. Thought he was using some new equipment in 2T Diamond 2019 but now see it as another high-level achievement. After all, tactics still come on top with all other skills being equal on both sides.
Obviously, I don't understand Russian but it is a good video and it is a complete match instead of highlights. I have to thank and really appreciate those who uploaded this video.
