The headlights on this car definitely need an upgrade from stock, can't see crap with them and I hate feeling like everyone's brights are on at all times, tints and shades are a must! Those look great and the fog lights really clean up the front end for sure! I've had my eye on those for a while too. Good on you for jumping in and trying something new, glad it worked out well.
I was skeptical to purchase these because people said the reflector housing isn't as good as stock, and the stocks being so bad, had me concerned. But I'm so happy to say they are INCREDIBLE. They worked so much better than stock when I used them last night. But yeah I think it really cleans up the front end plus you gotta do the fogs in my opinion otherwise it doesn't match the black headlight housing as well. Considered yellow but decided to go with a simpler look for this car since my subaru has the yellow. But for 150 bucks I highly recommend them to anyone
For every one else if you do this mod on a del sol the gap in the lights to bumper shows alot if the car is any other color than black mine is white and the gaps showed bad same on my red del sol great video !!!! Take your fender screws out first next time......everyone hates those that's why they get those quick release thingys with the rubber bands lol sweet car I live in Vermont I've bought over 14 del sols
That's actually a really good point. I didn't even think about how bad the gap would appear on something other than black. And wow you're not too far, maybe I'll run into at a show or something! Also feel free to send some pics of yours to my Instagram @scooch988. Always looking for inspiration
Having owned a 93 Del Sol SI myself, the stock headlights and auxiliary are horrible. I replaced mine with housings like the ones you chose plus upgraded further to DoT legal hyperwhites. The legal type bulbs won't overheat and warp/melt the housings.
That’s the way to go honestly, on the new sol im building the headlights are awful, it’s the same housings but the previous owner put terrible bulbs in so I gotta find something better to replace them
@@scooch988 part of why upgrading the head and auxiliary lights is because I drove backroads and such where the only light was from your vehicle so you can see the issue. Thankfully there's plenty of aftermarket support. Also that so my parts cross over helps. If you decide to do chassis reinforcement, the Megan Racing four point front tie bar is the best but requires moving the cat rearward. Second best I believe from NRG and doesn't have the second crossbar so no exhaust mod is needed.
@@scooch988 I try to help where I can. You have options for the rear strut brace. Bare in mind if your going to carry a spare tire, certain braces won't work.
Just bought my first Del Sol. Its a 96 Si that needs some love. I stumbled across your channel yesterday and I enjoy the content. Good job on the channel! Keep up the good work. Shout out from Nova Scotia, Canada. Subbed :)
Thanks a lot man! Appreciate that! Also I'm a big fan of Nova Scotia haha, I try to get up there as often as I can. Good luck with the build on yours! You're going to love driving it in the summer months
So I actually didn't aim them at all and they've been fine since I made this video. But I know mine were also never messed with so that probably helped haha. I'm sure in all honesty mine aren't perfect but they're also not super wonky so I just left them
They've held up fairly well. They leak intermittently, its strange. But for 150 bucks cant complain. Also heard of people sealing around the edges and it holding up even better

That’s a good tip right there thank you, matter of fact I am looking to do that in the near future. Car definitely needs a little stiffening up

I’m going to attempt this with my Del sol, glad I watched this first at least now I can expect an imperfect fitment
Yea it’s a super easy install and they definitely don’t fit great but they don’t move around so that’s all that matters
Thanks. Very helpful.
Except for the side bumper mounting points. Was that a failure? Was it a snap connection? How did you reattach it?
Definitely! And those were just tabs that had come loose. Thankfully they all reattached to their original mounting points with no issues
Very nice ! You show everything in details and that is so great, thanks keep it up !
Thanks man! Currently sitting on my couch looking at mods. There's so much to choose from I can't decide what I want next 😂
@@scooch988 Hahahah that is normal for a Honda to have such a large variety of mods
Those look a MILLION times better. Such a good decision
Thanks man, I absolutely love them
Hell ya man I had a 93 del sol and the head light upgrade looks great !!!!
Yeah I absolutely love it. I can't believe how much better the front end looks now
Very nice video. I like the red civic more, but the del sol is OK too
I like that one too, I'm trying to get her to mod it but she keeps saying shanana
DO IT.

Doubt you'll see this, but how did the aiming go? Mine has these same headlights that a previous owner installed, and boy are they messed up.

Thank you! Happy to assist 🙂
How have the lights held up?

Nice video where can I get these for my del sol?
Amazon is where I got mine! Just type in delsol headlights!!
We just got our new head lights in today!
Thats awesome! They're gonna look so good you'll love em!
@@scooch988 we went with all smoked out ones to match the tail lights already installed on the car when we bought it.
Are these spyder or spec d headlights?
I'm honestly not sure. I just typed in "delsol headlights" on Amazon and these popped up haha
Such a great vid
Thanks! Highly recommend the headlights if you're looking for new ones for yours
Just got new Amber turn signals and side markers reflectors but thanks for that will need to get some headlights now
Hope to see a vid up on it, I'd like to see those on the red

HOL UP, WAIT A MINUTE
SOMETHIN AINT RIGHT
Anyone going by at 90 miles an hour won’t see the gap!
Couldn't have said it better myself!
Why fogs black
I like how it matches the smoked housing of the headlights
Del sol is a girls car
That's what Honda said back in 93
@@hungphan578 actually it was debuted in 1992 but wasn't sold until the 93 model year. This applied to the US, Japan and UK
