Kinda missed the advantage of having no screws under your feet with an est set up, this can give you more comfort and feel. Possibly better at absorbing high impact landings with extra cushion under boot? I love landing flat :D

3D is only found on Burton kids boards these days I think. At the time it came out it was alongside the old 4x4 hole pattern and 3D was more adjustable so superior to 4x4 in my view. Now we have 2x4 and that's really negated all the benefits of Burton's 3D hole pattern.
Est sucks like nothing else, comes loose I have worked in a rental store for years as well as experiencing it first hand. So have my mates. Avoid!!! Also if you are ocd like me it's really difficult to setup est quickly and mirroring the other foot exactly
@@SnowboardAddiction damn. I want to buy a 2nd snowboard & since most are 4-hole I'll have to buy new bindings to 😔 Since I live in Northern Australia I have to fly anywhere to get to the snow so it's not really an option to take 2 boards & 2 bindings... Rookie error
EST bindings flex at the heel and toe contact points, and create more delay from edge to edge. No binding is strong enough to withstand that flexion, and if they were, they would be too heavy. EST will never be as good as a four hole system because of this imho.
