Some people don't ban pokemons and just sit staring at everyone and it is very irritating to see someone wasting a chance to ban
People recognizing your main Pokemon and banning it is why you should learn to play multiple Pokemon. People try doing that to me and it barely affects me

@@mr._jgp Well I matched against a player a couple of days ago twice in a row and after destroying the first (non draft) game with Inteleon they banned Inteleon in the second game. I also played Inteleon against them a couple of times in the past as well.
Could it be that they usually ban Inteleon and it’s just a weird coincidence? Sure but I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this when you recognize certain players and what they usually play

Happening to me recently, enemy banned Cramorant on 3rd game after we matched 3 times in a row. I have to pick Lucario on 3rd match
Sometimes i see people banning the most dumbest mons, and i hate them banning a mon their mon cant play against

I had a draft match a couple of days ago and the idiots banned Dragapult 🤦♀
When I see them ban certain mons that aren't problematic I know they are bad at the game. What people ban also let's you know what level of player they are.

I havent chosen to ban buzzwole yet as i have only seen bad ones this season, no idea why. The last buzzwole i saw was on my team, he spent the entire match following me around as comfey when i was starting the match laning with delphox (i was feeling passive aggressive as my team chose 3 3 stage attackers so swapped from elde to comfey). He threw the match hard from following me around, i did a lot more damage than him. All because he wanted a pet pocket support because he was unable to hold his own. The last enemy buzzwole i saw did around 8k damage all match.
Buzzwole and Miraidon are standard bans for me personally, i dont want to see them, i dont need to see them.
Meowscarada imo is not ban worthy and neither is Blastoise but i guess it depends.
Leafeon definitely ban worthy, maybe Glaceon as well, even tho i think Sylveon and Umbreon can be stronger than the other two.
Same... If the other team bans one of these, i include scissor/trev in the list too
I quit Pokémon unit!! The moment you open your mouth you get chat banned. Ik it wouldn’t matter but I’m done with this game
I never had a problem with that but I am taking a break until next season
Well, y'know the loading screen where everyone has to tap ready to enter the match? People keep pressing it at the 1 second mark, which lags my phone so badly it freezes until the final stretch of the match. And I keep getting knocked 15 Fair Play Points per pop, lolz. Not to mention all the crappy players I get in matches

Any thoughts on intentionally not banning something good if you're the 3rd ban? Example: My teammate bans Miraidon, other team bans Leafeon. I should ban Buzz, but I can instead ban Blastoise, and then if the other team overlooks Buzzy boy, then my team has 1st pick and can grab it. If they do ban Buzz, no problem, I still banned Blastoise. Only risk is my 1st pick just defaulting to whatever they have a gold badge on...

Draft is a little different with healers like Clef/Blis because you can spec into curse items. If your team wants to run speedsters, Clef can be banned.

I think the Draft mode needs an extra ban slot for EX only. Atm you'd have every EX but Zacian banned, but it would future proof the game against TiMi's unwillingness to balance EX mons on release. And as they add more EX's, which they will, you may even get to pick your faves.Atm people will burn a ban slot to understandably target EX's, ignoring some of the better bans.

Glaceon is a good choice as well. As fourth ban option
People banning your pokemon because they recognize you is a smart move. But it highlights another problem in Unite, which is the Aeos coins weekly cap. My pokemon pool should be much bigger, but I am now restricted to 2-3 pokemons. If they happened to be picked or banned, then I am left with playing a pokemon I usually never play.
i didn't expect it but Zoroark is a great ban... I personally get games where people pick attackers, no cc mons when they see a zoaroak first pick so...
Nice gameplay dude i bought buzzwole and couldnt really use him very well. The biggest issue i had was closing gaps and escaping. Good job bro gameplay is sick

There's no such thing as a "very good Comfey player", it doesn't exist.
Cutrent meta I'd say the Tree should be the 1st name on the ban list. My main 3 pokemon for this season have been Meow, Trev and Gyari. And also sableye when I simply feel like trolling the enemy. And I must say all 4 are truly broken at the moment. Especially the darn Tree
Totally agree with the ban choices in the video but not with Charge Beam being mid. I think it's still a great move which can do a lot of continuous damage from a long distance. Not banworthy, but surely something you have to consider as equal to Electro Drift
Still A+ at least imo. Never had a Pokemon where I dealt 100+ k damage that easily and I played it only after nerfs. I think people who played it pre nerfs think it's mid, because it used to be much stronger.
1:25 leafyon is also something you should ban if you know someone in opponent is like a gold badge leafyon
Superpower being really good makes some people forget about Leech Life. If you dont have an on demand stun or push he literally never dies.

There should be three bans for each team, because we're working with a big roster (and also some cases where your team doesn't ban anything for some reason.)
A few honorable mentions. Trev, clef, wiggly and zacian.
I always go for Trev ban and then Zoroark cuz people here take Zoroark n comfey and that combo is hard to deal with.
So talking about draft what are some good first picks? Or what should we always go for as a first pick?
I ban buzz, clefable, or umbreon.
I play a lot of high mobility mons, not having to worry about gravity or snarl let's me play my apeedsters freely.
My 4th would be mewtwo or Miraidon.
Buzzwole has been banned in every draft game I've played.
My ban priority list goes like
1. mosquito
2. Kitty /blast depending on which team has first pick
3. trev / umbreon / leafeon
4. Mewtwo
My one
1: Puppet
2: Cursed Tree
3: Dog
4: Eevees
Wich ranks does draft apears?
After master 1400
1) buzzwole
2) hoopa (very annoying to deal)
3) mewtwo
The first 3 are peobably the best choice in soloq. The one's i would do.
Buzzwole strogest pokemon in the game.
Hoopa is so annoying to deal against.
Mewtwo for the reasons you mention.
4) its very hard to choose the 4th one because the rest of the pokemon are kinda at the same power level. Probably ban something a powerful opponent is good on it.
Trevenant and crustle there are still solid tank as the blastoise, dont let me start talk about umbreon mean look or slowbro unite...
Meowscarada very powerful speedster as leafeon or zoroark even dodrio could be very scary to fight against in soloq.
Even clefable could be a solid pick to ban.
I usually banned cinderace or greninja when I used to play because people picked them only..
I am not playing anymore because unite has limited the new pokemons which is also the main reason
You think you’re helping by banning Cynderace/Greninja but you’re actually throwing when some oppressive Pokemon exist. The one trick player on Cynderace sucks but banning what they play isn’t going to change that.
I may be wrong but I hate blastois so much that I banned him in all my 11 drafts😅
I personally think Glaceon and Hoopa are better ban picks than Miraidon personally. Still below the other 4, but higher than Miraidon.

personaly mewtwos is annoying but the players i play against still let me play the game to some extent. honestly a good gardevoir or dragopult is scarier than mewtwo

I always ban mewtwo y: its the most annoying thing to play against, i personally think its incredibly broken(and felt vindicated when I saw its current win rate) and most important, any idiot can play it and do well with it. Banning buzz and leafeon may be the optimal strat(depending on which team gets first pick), but theres so many people that cant play buzz or leafeon well, but like... if someone cant play mewtwo y, they literally cannot play anything in the entire game. And because of how brain afk it is to play, its also the most frustrating thing to play against.

Glacion is the worst, I just can't believe why the developers have their brains in their pants, like seriously man! The icicle spear build is always up, and does 4k-5k damage by just clicking, for a perspective, Inteleon single snipe doesn't do this much damage, which the highest skill pokemon. So basically click and run is higher valued than highest skill pokemon.
Buzzwole is gonna be top 1 in the ban list, playing buzz is like playing king in tekken
The way I’m seeing people say sylveon after we have meowscarada mimikyu buzzwhole umbreon leafeon glaceon Espeon mewtwos miraidon running around broken as hell 😭 if you aren’t banning any of those Pokémon you are griefing

I can see some people struggling with buzzwole , but It got some counter play, and any good tank stop him. in other hand Mimikiu is similar in a way you can't do anything about it and shadow sneak give it a way safer game without much counterplay .
