- In this chat with Exhorder's Kyle Thomas, we explore the band's album "Defectum Omnium," set to release via Nuclear Blast in early March 2024. Kyle sheds light on the album's themes alongside discussions about the inspiration behind their music. We also delve into the recent addition of Pat O'Brien from Cannibal Corpse to the band and Exhorder's connections with fellow New Orleans bands like Eyehategod and Phil Anselmo. The conversation takes a deeper dive into specific tracks, such as "The Tale of Unsound Minds". Furthermore, Kyle addresses Exhorder's perspective on comparisons to Pantera and reflects on the current political landscape, particularly in light of authoritarian measures during the COVID era.

Great chat Andrew, Kyle is a total legend, Floodgate - i need to get that back out of my collection and give it a spin, great album. Lets hope Exhorder tour Oz one day with Pat.
Best interview with Kyle I've ever seen. This interviewer asks real questions and is obviously a fan and not just a passing journalist. I hope this guy gets more popular.
Very kind, thank you!
Hail Kyle. Underrated singer.
Kyle is an absolute legend in my book.😎🤘
Kyle rules. Seeing him play with Alabama Thunderpussy was definitely a highlight of my life. Criminally underrated album

amen to all that early on about the pandemic
awesome interview mate
In New Orleans, Kyle has an amazing Dio and Judas Priest Tribute band. I saw both shows and I can tell you that Kyle is an amazing vocalist and showman
Free Pat O'Brien!
I know in his biography as just being human & emoting what he reciprocates. As a broken man recovering from addiction & spinal surgery that he treated me as a brother. Raised in Utah & living in So.Mississippi when we met there was a kinship & respect for each other’s life history & future’s. Music was the catalyst yet not the source for 26 years of being good homies til this day. Witnessing his growth from the Exhorder breakup through Penalty/Floodgate, Black Earth & feeling his excitement when asked to join Trouble was like watching a lil brother achieve the full recognition he worked his ass off for & deserved. You reap what you sow & he’s one hell of a great gardener. Onwards & upwards, keep kickin ass 🤘🤘
