yeah - penn state's been saying that the last decade against ohio state. Sorta sick of it at this point. This kid isnt the problem- hes a symptom of the problem and People need to just accept that the nittany lions are anything other then just an above average team. They end up just getting beat by ohio state, who then goes on to get beat by actual championship caliber teams. its the same song and dance every year. They are the sisyphus of the NCAA football world.

PSU always seems right there on the verge of beating us, it won't take much more than a play or two, one less penalty, one more turnover.. something. While guys like me sitting shotgun on a couch call them names after some of their most emotional days.
I think the offensive play calling could have helped him out a lot more. PSU Defense played really well, but I think the OC Could’ve done a better job scheming receivers open.
Drew has a legitimate shot to be QB1 in the BIG next year, but PSU needs to get him some weapons outside.
There’s a lot of Football left to play in the season; teams rarely remain the same week 1 to wk11.
A Battle-scarred Penn State at Happy Valley is a very Scary team to face. I would not wanna be TTUN in that upcoming matchup later this year.

What if the fumble recovery that went for a PSU touchdown, had not been called back, and what if the punt returner had fielded that one punt, instead of letting it roll 25 yeards?

Unreal call of defensive holding on the strip sack and touchdown by Jacobs. PSU had chances but OSU just played better and got a lot of calls ( not saying anything was unfair . Just saying a lot of calls against them ) PSU can’t win big road games!

This is not your loss, it's the teams loss. Your coaches called stupid conservative plays and where was the option. The shotgun delay handoffs if were options Drew would still be running untouched today. They weren't options cause drew never checked the end because it was just a delay.

100% Franklin's fault again. He is incapable of winning the big game. It's time to send him packing. He will never get us a national championship. He isn't that caliber of a coach. What coach puts a team together without a deep threat?? Our team is 100% one dimensional. If you stop the run, you got us beat. Five and six yard passes. Every down ain't going to win games!!

    • @mptr1783

    • @Josh-h6j

I think he wants a deep threat but osu keeps taking hafe the wr in the country an they might have just not come to Penn st that cycle he usely has one. But if I were a penn st fan I would be mad at the fact the teams you guys had to play were not hard games teams for sure going to win and Franklin did not let him throw the ball down field to get on track an get it down timing and everything an brought him in to the horse shoe unprepared an left him out there to get trounced on not cool Franklin. Drew come to osu in transfer portal cuz guarantee your going to get prepared

Allar made a lot of bad throws and failed to hit a lot of open receivers, but I’ve been saying it since the Illinois game, this offensive scheme looks like it was designed by a Mike Tomlin injected by a cocktail of fentanyl and meth. Route combinations that take almost none of our receivers over the deeper parts of the field, a frustratingly under utitlized run game despite having a 5 star recruit running back who was at the top of his class, and a good alternate, and in the Ohio state game, 3rd down play calling that didn’t make any sense especially in short yardage situations. We had multiple 3rd and 1’s and our brilliant OC opted to try and either do a shotgun pass, or RPO that went no where, instead of just trusting singleton or Allen, to bust it up the gut for 1 yard or get behind Allar and push. Allar played badly, but they abandoned the run for reasons I didn’t understand and shifted the weight of the game entirely onto his shoulders by passing more often then he should have been in a extremely hostile opposing venue that was 101 decibels loud. I’ll be damned if I’m going to put a majority of the blame on Allar for this loss, he definitely deserves some, but his coaches have been putting him in bad spots throughout season like in the Illinois game or the northwestern game. Then you got this idiot Franklin out here saying we aren’t going to get this kid to throw deep balls even though he’s a 5 star recruit? Sounds like the same problem my school has had for years with developing QB’s and Franklin saying that only further leads me to believe that he shouldn’t be the coach of this program anymore, but I’m stuck with this bum because my idiot university thought it would be a good idea to extend his sorry rear in 2021, only to have him go out and suffer the worst loss of his career that season, a 9 OT loss to fucking Illinois at home AT HOME!!!! So sick and tired of this crap and my school giving these top offensive recruits that we get totally inadequate coaching.
