I like the Ankylosaurus, but overall... Not worth the money I feel. Also: these four combine into Kibblorr, the most kibble-centric clusterfuck of a combiner.
For some reason I really like the engineering involved in transforming the triceratops legs into robot mode, even though it leaves the beast mode legs in a static position
Depends on how realistic you want the beast mode to be. A lot of G1 figures that turned into robot animals (like the G1 Decepticon Headmasters) weren't bad on the kibble because they didn't have to hide all the robot parts. But if you want a beast mode that looks organic? Kibble is pretty much inevitable.
And way more practical for a Gundam pilot who was still so green you could smell the tree sap. The original GX had a powerful weapon in the Satellite Cannon, sure...but when it can only be used when the moon is out, and requires several minutes of waiting in the same spot to receive the microwaves, it's not a very useful system without some dedicated backup.
@@jamesmcdavid1673 and yet a vet pilot gets the machine. It's been a while since I've seen after war gundam X I need to get the series also X Divider MG kit when bandai lol
These are pretty cool transforming-dinosaur figures! Though, it is a shame that the green one doesn't seem like it can hold its weapons. I don't know if it actually can't, or maybe it can, it's just not very apparent, or maybe it's supposed to be mounted somewhere on the figure...? I have no idea...
Dino Green's weapons have an inner and outer slot that allows them to combine for the dino mode, there's slots on the robot mode's wrists with the same shape to connect to.
Ankylosaurus: has a good closed Dino mode but a bit to big compared to the others. Poor articulation in the arms (but I managed to open him up and modify it so the ratchets could go 360). Great head. Brachiosaurus: Actually to small compared to the rest. Open bottom and the dino mode just doesn't do it for me, looks to boring somehow.. Poor leg articulation no knees (but fixable by rotating it the other way around). Good head. Most Transformer-like head. Top heavy. Triceratops: Open bottom. No articulation problems. Head is not so good. T-Rex: to small, should have been bigger compared to Triceratops. Robot mode to thin. Articulation good. Head is OK. I was able to let it hold its weapons in its hands (but just not very firmly). Overall I like the Triceratops most. Second T-Rex, despite being a bit to small. Then Akylosaurus and Brachiosaurus. The Ankylosaurus is good only after you fixed the arms to raise up. Which I did, then I think the Ankylosaurus is the best I think. ACTUALLY: BRONTOSAURUS did exist! The name has been restored in 2015 as a separate species from Apatosaurus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brontosaurus
Regarding Dino Blue: Brontosaurus actually is considered to be a valid genus again, a few years back paleontologists decided that it was sufficiently different from Apatosaurus to warrant it. Dino Blue, however, is actually a Camarasaurus.
I seem to remember seeing these at my local bulk buying department store called The Warehouse about 12 years ago, or so. If I remember correctly, they can combine into a super robot. Also, I think that there were other sets too, an Insect set, a set of Predators (Lion, Tiger...) and a set of her Herbivores (Giraffe, Rhino,...), but they could have been in the same set, and they combined into robots too. I never got them, and they disappeared from the shelves rather quickly as they were really cheap.

Dino blue is either a apatasaurus, brachiasaurus, or a brontasaurus. (the brontasaurus has recently been announced by paleontologist as an official dinosaur, but I don't think that it looks like what it was thought to look like originally but it is an official dinosaur.
As for the green T-Rex, it looks to me like the rectangular holes on the tail weapons fit on the raised parts on the sides of the arms...maybe. Also, these remind me of some of the figures from the "Hello Carbot" line. There are both animals & vehicles.
It's so weird to get dinosaur transformation team where the Tyrannosaurus doesn't seem to be the leader. Oh well at least the toy line has acknowledge the superiority of Ank
Dino Blue's bot colors remind me of Ultra Magnus. Have you heard of the T-Beast design books? If you havent,Magnus is reimagined...as a hippo. A brachiosaur would be a nicer fit. This set looks interesting, but that kibble, whew.

The leg transformation for the triceratops really looks interesting. Seems really effective when it comes to hiding the dino legs.
9:45 Got you covered. It's the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider.
Dino Orange is actually the best out of these four to me.
They seem to fit the BeastWars Transformers, maybe another faction of Maximals. They look very much in tuned with the BW aesthetics.
uh huh!
Blue one is a Brachiosaurus (Brack-e-o-saurus)
That’s what I yelled at the screen lol 🤣
Think of it as kind of a big cow.

Perfect name.
I'm dying 🤣
Dino Green is like Rex from Toy Story who could transform into a robot mode, lol.
It's obvious to me that the green Tyrannosaurus took inspiration from Grimlocks transformation at least for the legs.
Dino Blue looks like he either smelled something unpleasant or heard a really poor joke. Or maybe he's just disappointed.
He watched the show called Two Broke Girls. It's horrible. I think it's on the CW network
I think the green guy's hand goes into that slot in the weapon.
For some reason I really like the engineering involved in transforming the triceratops legs into robot mode, even though it leaves the beast mode legs in a static position
Why does the green one look high, yellow has glasses, blue is squinting and has PTSD, and red is the normal one
because ankylosaurus is bae
Think this is a Hello Carbot KO. They have a series of zoo animals as well.
It seems like it's impossible to avoid kibble when it comes to Animal transformers, they're wither shellformers or they basically stand up.

That Ankylosaur bot makes an alright Scowl.
Kind of neat as far as figures go.

For Dino Green, there were actually clips that attached the arms to the weapons and that is how you were supposed to get them on.

At 3:35 with the dino head on the robot body, I was thinking, ". . . aaaannnd it's done!" =D
