Interesting on how I have managed to overlook that catchphrase: "To save the world - when Connie and the rest meet Reiner". I thought it was somewhat cheesy but little did I realise that it was somewhat foreshadowed throghout the whole series. Any action anyone took upon anything, wether it was a self centered or altruistic, kind or pitful, big or small. Everyone's intention was for the greater good of "In order to save the world" - so when they say that catchphrase before embarking in the mission of Stopping Eren, I realise the sarcastic nihilism behind it all. This video made me realise this.
Yes! I'm so happy that I was able to transmit this idea. It's a direct parallel to young reiner, he thought he was going to save the world and for so he would have to sacrifice many lives and got called a traitor in the process by those who didn't understand him. Now it's the same for the Paradis people, who finally understand Reiner. All for a bigger goal which, at the end, it's subjective and nothing more than a personal desire.
As a child Reiner was seen as the worst warrior but then grew up to be one of the most successful of them all through hard work by becoming vice chief. The GOAT👑
This was really well done. I feel that after Reiner lost Berthold, that was when he lost it. His best friend was no longer there to get him through the worst parts and he was never that close to Annie anyway

@@seque2024 but reiner, annie and berthold were only kids that have been taught that they could become special to their societies and families if they'd work for Marley's gorvernment and end the "demons". They did what they learned that was right, and Reiner always wanted to be recognized by his family and society as a hero, for he always felt so weak, being abandoned by his fazer. I guess AoT shows that everyone has a background and pointing fingers to blame someone is not really the answer. Also, we see Reiner suffer and lose his sanity because of the things he's done and he got to know who the people that he hurt were after all the things he did, but Eren already knew that no side is entirely wrong, but still he acted based on anger and revenge
If I wanted to convince someone of the essence of these characters, I’d simply show them your videos. There’s an especially lofty level of production, analytical, and creative value here. Even with such a carefully curated collection of scenes, not a single one feels over-analyzed or isolated from the heart of the story. I get the sense that you really understand both these characters and the themes they explore. And common threads throughout your edits, like Kenny’s final moments, use understated but essential concepts to bind all of them together. Consequently, I’m immersed in the world of AoT for the entirety of each video’s runtime, and it’s like I’ve been gifted the opportunity to feel moved by the story for the first time all over again.
