Also I wonder if they even read our emails or do they just trash them? It's just like when I receive Google search calls all during the day. I just talk to them for 40 seconds. Sometimes I just hang-up on the google ad sales reps, I don't have the time. Have you ever received a call back or an email from your first email?

There is probably a combination of both. The subject line, first line, content of the email, images, length of the email, etc. all go a long way in regards to how it's received.
I do think it is safe to say that the majority will be trashed, but some can land. Timing is the big unknown but that's why the follow-ups matter. - Josh
