Iam not sure of the video I watch a woman kept a species of her tetra spawns covered so no light could hit the eggs in the first few days of development. She was saying light has a adverse outcome if the eggs are exposed to it, being a rain forest fish this could be issue your might be having with you hatching. Just a shot it dark , but could be worth a try.
