This was just so cute and wholesome! Kouki lost his job and became a NEET, like he said at the end, but everything soon went up for him. He got a new job as a housekeeper for Sae, his friend's big sister, and basically became her wife for the most part. And now he's married to her as a stay at home husband as she works to take care of the both of them. Kouki really got the best life he could, a wonderful home, a beautiful wife, and true happiness. Plus all the moments of him being teased were cute, and the stuff with Mamoru at the college were funny. But the best part had to be when they both connected on a deeper level and where Sae confessed her true feelings for him. That was just the most wholesome and heartwarming scene in the story.
If it's true, although I understand how Kouki feels with those teasing, I would feel sad and bothered if they teased me, and even more so if it's a woman who attracts me, really I don't understand why some women they like to play this kind of jokes or games, imagine if instead of Kouki it had been a guy who had a bad head, the good thing is that in the end they became a couple and got married, everything is very nice.

i got a buddy whos wife pays him to not go back to working as a chef, she got a huge promotion years ago right when he finely had enough and told the horrible women he was working for, to stuff it and walked during their dinner rush, i mean she kept threatening to fire him for not providing things she didnt put on orders and other crap.... was slow to pay, just on an on, cutting corners on product quality then expecting them to make up for it with some magic... anyway... he gets teased a bit but mostly out of all our mild to moderate jelousy, even his dad admits, hes got it good, he takes care of the home and kids and does his own projects, some make money, some just make stuff for them to use.. some just endup making a mess..but hey...
like i told him when he was thinking people were really giving him genuine shit.... "dude even your dads jelly...she got a raise that more then tripled her salary and her first thought was to hire her husband to make sure she didnt have to worry about good meals and having somebody there when she got home... the up side of her is shes a major tomboy and very much solution oriented so,she expects him to offer solutions not just listen to her bitch... like he learned to do form his mother and ex's...
anyway... i would take his place given the chance.. hes got a great life.. to me.. the funniest part is shes the one who had to ease into being around kids, he grew up helping with kids... they are a great pair, and i would love to meet somebody like that.... even as old and broken down as i am...

If you go to the University, you are most likely going to end up working on whatever when you finish, and if you do not, then they will not hire you :S It is stupid that they require you to have a title on something JUST so they can hire you to work on something else. When he went back home and his mother suddenly introduced her future husband to him and then dropped the moving to london bomb i was like only in a romcom would they throw that in. I hat that whole scenario cause its like lets not share important information with our loved ones till the last second and hope they dont self destruct. I know we cant see the timeframe of the story so it could be that there is time in between everything but its also like do you not care about what the other important people in your life would have to go thru. Like if this is based on say japanese culture do they even understand what love is or do they just smash you together and let real love develop over time and keep everythign private even form your own family and force them to either hit a wall or move on. Sorry for rambling. I hate remarriage scenarios cause it always seems like they never think of the other people who will be effected and are afraid of what they would say if they new in advance. still as a character id call his mothers part in the story as trash cause i dont think a real mother should keep info from their kids or jump into something by forcign their children to suddenly, "grow up or fall behind".

My family IRL is the equivalent to online trolls who troll people for the lols rather than because we don't agree with what is being said. Why the confusion with the Wife thing?, he is a Husband, because he is male, well, at least here, a Female is a Wife, a Male is a Husband. There are marriages with two Wives and also marriages with two Husbands.
Could be the accepted social norm is that the "wife" stays home and does the house work and the "husband" goes to work to earn money that puts food on the table. Basically she is flipping the script on him, which when I was growing was actually a guaranteed way to get a good ribbing from everyone.
