Both tablets are much better than both of these tablets. Both are for the power user. Still the samsung tab sturggles to keep consistent performance even after having a sd 865. And i am talking about the basic UI not about heavy usage cause it is a given the M1 is in a league of it's own in that regard. Even though the samsung is considerably better with the s pen as it comes in the box already and the display is just a tad bit better I prefer the ipad as it got the basics much better. And just by watching this video the xaiomi pad is even worse than my samsung 7+ in the basics

If you want one of the best looking screens in terms of picture quality which will be better than the ipads. (I am saying this with side by side comparison) then it will be a better option and it's cheaper as well. Also the s pen experience is a bit better than apple pencil and that too for a fraction of a price as it comes along with the tab. And its a lot handy than the bigger 12.9 inch ipad pros. And compared to any ipad below that which will be handier than the samsung including ipad pro 11 inch, ipad air and ipad basic the screen is night and day better because all of the lower ipad versions just have a basic lcd screen which is nothing in comparison to the super amoled . The 12.9 inch mini led ipad pro only gets close and still doesn't beat it. Also the latest s8 tab model is not much better in screen quality than the 7+. So these 4 were the biggest pros for it. Screen quality, s pen experience, handling, price. Coming to the cons. When we got this tablet a year ago. The performance out of the box was never on par with an ipad. In terms of basic UI functionality. Don't get me wrong it was a smooth experience with 120hz and all but it's not very optimized. So you'll notice a frame drop here and there. Also the performance in games is not even comparable to the M1 but the price difference justifies it. And the sd 865 is still a beast even in gaming etc i played apex legends on it max settings no problem. And the thing is if the performance out of the box is not on par with 2 year old ipads then there is also a chance it might get worse after more years. And you are already getting it in 2023 so it's already software updated making it age a bit which is much more critical with other tabs compared to ipads cause they tend to get slow with age due to unoptimized android updated. So these points are what I can say with my personal experience. Now depending on what you have on your priority list you can pick and choose

Pad 6 is good with great hardware but what bout software!? Yeah that’s what i hate the most bout Chinese phones and tablets. Like i have use xaiomi high end phones before and each and every time, after software supports end, they push an update with hell lotta bugs that ruins the phone and they don’t even try to fix it, which makes it seems like that buggy update was intentional. Period.

Ipad has very good productivity apps but the accessories such as the pencil is expensive Tab s7fe is also another option with included s-pen however the price would be the same with ipad+apple pencil. Both are really good tablet but do some research and see which one fits your kind of work
