On the bright side, the Bears had the ball with a chance to win on the road against a team predicted to be a Superbowl threat. I am waiting for at least 8 games before making up my mind about this team.

Once again, WHY did they play the starters so little and NOT AT ALL in the last preseason game? I know they are trying to avoid injuries, but their last two season’s first games are catastrophically horrendous offensively. Did we not learn something from last year?

Agreed, but I think something drastic is required and it is sitting Davis. My hunch is the other linemen resent him. The situation might be akin to the Claypool problem where the impact was much greater than we realized. Sit him or cut him.
