- I figured I'd upload a proper walkthrough of our townhouse on Spangdahlem air base before our tmo arrives. This is a good reference for anyone else on the waiting list or considering moving on base since there seems to be a lack of images or videos on the layout and floor plans for base housing. This particular design is a 3 bedroom with an attic in the garage. The alternative is a 4 bedroom without the attic or stairwell housing. Don't mind the rubber seals laying around,the contractors are still replacing some of the old ones during our move in.
First 30 seconds and it's already better than joint base Andrews. 🙃

No problem, yes the windows have screens as well as the German standard built in shutters that roll down so you don’t need to purchase curtains
We stayed at the Spangdalem base housing back in the late 60s. Really has come a long way since then and looks much better
Wow! I was stationed there from 1996 through 2000. They have come a LONG way in their housing!
Does the master bedroom have room for a king-size bed? I have a follow-on to Spangdahlem and trying to get rid of stuff that won't be useful. Thanks in advance!
Yeah it’s got enough room, we managed to put a king size bed set and large dresser in our master. Not much room for anything else though. There’s an attic upstairs I didn’t manage to film as well as the one in the garage so plenty of storage at least.
Copy that. And does housing provide anything for you as far as appliances go or transformers?
@@d_baby_banks1771 all appliances are included. Fridge,oven,dishwasher,washer,dryer house has 120 outlets as well as 220 so you shouldn’t need transformers which is a big bonus
