This is exactly how I’ve felt about Fortnite for a long time, but just like Ninja that amount of FN shills that praise the games broken system and endless cycle of buffing and nerfing weapons for skin promotions is insane, I just want the game to be fun and balanced not a complete cluster fuck every season.
Bro, wtf does this even mean? I swear some of y'all just use the slightest excuse to use the latest viral word on the internet. Your statement is void of any substance. You must be 13 or younger.
It's crazy to think we live in an age where Ninja isn't considered a sweat. Back in the day, he was the best builder and shooter there was. Times a changin'.
His aim and movement are still top notch. The dude just can't build. If he concentrated fully, he could be a competent builder in pubs, but not in competitive. He should just be honest about that instead of pretending it's because of ping.
@@John6-40 Ping is one of the biggest determining factors in a build fight. I'd argue it's more important than knowing building and editing in the first place. And Ninja has came out and said that he can't build anymore. But when you're playing on 33 ping vs somebody who's on 0 ping, that 0 ping guy is literally playing a different version of the game than you. Where he doesn't have to worry about having his wall taken first try, or doesn't have to worry about taking a wall first try himself, etc. I remember watching Sypher play builds on his old ping. Then central servers got added and it was like watching a different player entirely. It was like all of a sudden it seemed like he got multitudes better overnight. Why play builds on 30-40 ping when no matter how good you are at it you're just gonna feel robbed by the first player you fight who lives in the basement of the servers? Not fun. Pros move to different states for a reason. If ping wasn't important, they wouldn't move.
Same here man, it can be so hard to enjoy this game sometimes and the people I chill with aren’t as diehard fans as me so I get the same responses that Ninja get. It is so damn nice to know there’s people out there that share the same opinions as I do. It’s sad to see the bad change a lot and be so unbalanced at times and yet people will still glaze it
Can you understand that some people actually like Fortnite rn? Ninja is completely entitled to his opinion and so are you but some people (me included) have been really enjoying Fortnite. There is no correct opinion
i dont exactly like the guy but overtime ive grown to respect him & his honesty sure he can go on yapping but alot of it is because he wants the game to succeed. things dont get better if you never critique or complain
@the1guy240 the contex behind it makes it just so much more funny. Ericdoa (the artist/streamer) was having a very emotional stream talking abt some real shit and was on the verge of crying so in order to not cry he just said the dumbest thing that came to mind
He can be a hypocrite at times, he also can be annoying at times take him and nadeshot in warzone a while back for example, he kept yapping because he was killed and had to spectate, and nadeshot couldn't focus. He's cool but he has his moments, I'm happy for him he became so successful in his content creator career, nobody is perfect but he is living g his best life and that's a win for Ninja, I don't hate ninja he just has some moments where he be doin to much.
I don't think he's an awful person but the way he backseat games stresses me tf out. He reminds me of a friend I stopped playing with because of how sweaty and bossy he would get. He genuinely made it not fun to play. I don't think either of them realize how distracting (and irritating) it can be when you are trying to focus. But like I said dude's not a bad person I just personally don't watch him bc of that reason.
@handsvsfood2781 I've been following him since the Halo days in 2012, watched him stream all the time especially during Halo 4. I never understood the hate he got. He's goofy sometimes which might rub people the wrong way but other than that he was always just an entertaining dude that was good at games
Ninja has honestly felt like one of the few real streamers when it comes to fortnite. I'm tired of streamers like courage who act like everything is so perfect with the game or sypher hyping up the season until it ends and then FINALLY critique some part's of it.
Courage changed a lot. This is the same dude that once screamed "F THE MECHS" and had no problem criticizing bots, etc. Both him and Sypher changed into shills.
I genuinely think Ninja got unfairly clipped. I tuned into his stream for a week straight when he was apparently "constantly hating on the game," but honestly, he wasn’t. The entire time I watched, he wasn’t playing with big streamers; he was just goofing off with his brother and having a good time. I honestly think that’s when Ninja was the most entertaining he has ever been. I mean, go watch one of his streams when he was at his peak-he was literally silent 90% of the time, just focused on the game. But now, he’s consistently talking, and it shows that he’s actually a good streamer without needing to be the best at the game. For me, as someone who hasn’t played Fortnite since OG left and hadn’t played for two years before that, I didn’t care about watching the best players. I cared about watching an entertaining stream, and that’s why I watched Ninja.
This is why I prefer channels like this. Smaller channels that aren’t forcing their content to support the game, doing it all for the money. Just some guys having fun playing their favourite game.
I've always hated ninja because he felt very fake. Also I thought he was super loud and annoying for no reason. But seeing him today I have a newfound respect for him. Don't get me wrong I still won't watch his content but I can respect him for keeping it real when his friends sell out
He had all eyes on him of course he had to censor himself when his audience quickly shifted to mostly little kids. Wouldnt say hes fake for that just mature. He has a pretty genuine personality in my opinion and is really honest about his opinions and beliefs
@@Minke420 Yes bc in their streams, they complain and end up catching themselves and they aren't as "happy go-lucky" as they are in their videos. At the end of the day, they're just trying to get money, so I understand why it is but that doesn't change that it's fake.
I’m the same way with Ninja , it’s hard to complain about the game but having friends that think Epic does no wrong. so it’s hard to say anything, so my respect is all for Ninja
It makes no sense of why people are mad of him playing zero builds, TG started to play zero builds personally I don’t play builds because I don’t have the hand eye coordination or skill to build and I don’t feel like wasting time perfecting builds
I dont have perfect building either, I kinda love how hectic these kids are building😂 you can take advantage of that really. Only problem I have is that if I play with random teammates they have literally zero patience, just npc's that jump right in even if they cant build shit and then leave if they die. But if I play with friends we almost always win. This game is as fast as your own heart rate.
11:00 Tyler saying the complete truth, compare last year record breaking player count of about 50 milion players in a day, to this years about 1.5 million

I’m really happy Tyler branched out to play with someone like Jynxi instead of these clowns, another real and down to earth person who gives critical reasoning for the things he does. Not to mention, he does it on his own terms. Is he a bit crazy sometimes? Sure, but him and Tyler work so well together
The part around 7:50 ish isn't even just a fortnite creator problem, it's a youtuber problem. It's SO cookie cutter and copy and paste right now to get views it's kinda wild. All of my favourite channels no matter the niche right now, are just people being honest and being themselves not following the "meta" so to speak. Mainly just because I'm tired of seeing the same 5 videos in every genre, over, and over. Would love to see the youtube creation world go a different direction, but I fear the average viewer almost expects it now.
8:20 so true, im tired of content creators saying "I GOT THE BEST LOADOUT IN FORTNITE *insert season name* YOU NEED TO TRY THIS". thats why i watch and support smaller fortnite content creators like SuprNova, JadonDoThingz and BowlOfRobin. Its very refreshing to not get screamed at by the vid
His so called “friends” are whipped by contracts. Ninja doesn’t have any contracts and can actually speak out without affecting his cashflow. Everyone needs a ninja in their lives
It's like people seem to forget that ninja was a day one fortnite player so he has all the free reins to say whatever he wants to be honest 🤷♂️ he's earned his bitching ticket seeing that he's played the game literally since day 1 and he is the sole foundation of fortnite in chapter 1. Yeah TSM was there and all of that but ninja was the number one player. Also at the time I didn't even know who sypher or courage even was. I only found out about those two because of ninja so the fact that courage sat right there in muted him after he definitely gave him the biggest break of his life is really mind-boggling to me.
His skill isn’t even gone, he’s just gotten to the point he notices WAY more flaws than the average sweat Also the MAIN reason ping matters in builds IS BECAUSE OF TURBO BUILDS. It ruins so much a TH-camr made a whole video playing without it and pointing out the HUGE difference
Unless you're running like 70+ ping, realistically turbo builds are the same for you. It's made up BS for people who are just bad at the game to say they can't builds because they have too high ping where they have like 35.
@@baconfacegamer792 I wish I could share the link so you genuinely could understand how huge Turbo Build makes a difference. But YT deletes comments with links
Ninja is just an honest guy, people just shit on his takes, not trying to understand him and why he feels the way he does. 10:06 , this part of the video I full agree with you. we’ve had the worst updates to the game mainly because there are just too many big content creators glazing these updates which aren’t even good. We need more content creators like Ninja who are honest so we can get actual good change to the game man.
This video changed my entire perspective on Ninja. I kinda got caught in the making fun of or hating ninja thing and didn't really realize he's actually way more honest than others and I agree with most of the stuff he's saying
Makes me happy to see some NinYa love… he gets so much hate, sometimes deserved but he’s one of THE Ogs he deserves the respect no matter how much more of the old man yelling at the clouds he becomes😂😂😂
Best fortnite video I've seen in ages, because you're not being a shill or fence riding just to appear fair. Most people RESPECT honesty. We're CRAVING that on YT because it's so rare these days. I quit watching Sypher in Ch3 because I didn't like the direction he was taking. He used to be critical when it was needed. He did cool guides on how to improve. He went away from that and just started going the Mr Beast or Courage JD route of click bait and cookie cutter content for kids. I think Ninja grew as a person while Sypher and courage went backwards. Ninja came to value staying true to himself, while the other dudes went the other way, towards faking for "content".
I've been following ninja for years now and my opinion is he is honest and just wants to be entertaining and he is one of a kind person with a strong side but I really respect how he's still putting in the work keep up the great work ninja "Getting a low taper fade"
If someone complains, dont just get angry at them. Even if you think they are wrong, they are entitled to their own opinion, and SypherPK and courage are just getting annoyed at Ninja especially after asking just infuriates me
I agree ppl take ninja’s comments and make it something it wasn’t, but i feel like i remember Ninja being on that positivity wave for the bag as well at the height of his career
Great video, you picked really good clips I really liked his point about Sypher and Courage being fake with the content it's so unappealing to the people over 18 watching their content who can see right through it. People just hate on Ninj for being real and for being honest. He has played the game for years Epic would be smart to take some tips from him every once in a while. I hope he sees this.
With Ch2, yes. With Ch1, no. Ch1 lived up to the hype. This is the best season of Ch2 BY FAR and I still see the flaws. Plus I really don't get your point, because we're not looking back on Ch2. We're playing it. Ninja has actually been very consistent (unlike his pals) in his opinion of Ch2. Ninja always hated Ch2. Even back then. Ch2 was when he quit Fortnite for long stretches and played Valorant and other games.
I like your point cause ive been watching like c1/ early c2 sypher and theres no screaming, loud music, or anything, just chill conversation and gameplay and I miss that
Fortnite messed up when they started things from scratch after season x. There was no need to do that, game was already at its peak and was so much fun from season 1 to x. But then they decided to change literally everything and focus on collabortions instead of the fanbase. Thats when the game lost its charm and became more of a business than a game. Gosh i miss chapter 1
This is why Ninja will always be the only Fortnite streamer I actually like. He is just a gamer. I also assume the clips are of you playing. And god damn you were hitting that shit
I know this is gonna bring smoke but I gotta speak my mind. Not everyone thinks like ninja, I love how the game is set up right now. The only reason people agree with ninja is because they are his " followers " yes he is an awesome player, I've been playing since the game came out also, but when someone beats him he usually blames it on anything but himself. Take responsibility for your slopy play or missed shot. Most people love where fortnite is right now, I have noticed that people that need help to play like the medallions or cars are the ones that are crying and whining about the game. Yes the game has bugs but it always does and so do every other game out there. Let's just have fun with what we have, cause the more they mess with the game the more buggy it gets and it just gets worse.
1. I agree not everyone thinks like Ninja or hates this season. 2. I don't follow Ninja, but I see where he's coming from. The things he's complaining about are the same things he and many others complained about BACK THEN. The map is too big, there' not much rotation, shakedown and flare guns leads to dead mid game because everyone dies early. Plus everyone hot drops for the mythics. 3. I 100% agree he is annoying when he blames everything but himself for having a bad game. He's far from alone on that in the YT space, though. 4. I actually hated Ch5 and like Ch2 remix, but I get the complaints. They're valid. This isn't on Ch1's level.
As somebody who actually watches Ninja he absolutely does not "usually" blame anything but himself. He calls out when he's missing shots or playing badly all the time. Also when it comes to missing shots he has a partial excuse considering his retina literally detached from his eye. He's not working with 100% vision. And he became one of the best players and has incredible aim despite that. And people tend to agree with Ninja because he's actually right about most things he criticizes. If people really gave a shit about the game and its health they'd be backing somebody like Ninja who was here from the start and knows the game. Right now the game is dictated by casual players who play maybe a couple of hours a week who don't know what the fuck they're talking about but speak confidently as if they do. It's like a random nobody who's been in a few brawls on the street saying that Bruce Lee doesn't know anything about martial arts. Like no bro, shut up and let the experienced people speak.
@gagetaylor192 well boy, I play everyday for 6 to 10 hours a day. I think ninja is a cry baby, he only complains when he don't win or someone better than him is smokin his ass. I watch him enough to see when he complains about some one hitting him with head shots with a sniper like they shouldn't be able to do that, and so what if the punk can only see with one eye, I got a buddy that plays with one arm and HE don't bitch and moan as much as ninja.
I really get Ninja being tired of "content creators". I can't image having to play along side them. They have stained video games in a big way. Especially since the games creators simp for them
I think my real problem with Ninja is that sometimes I generally feel he's too negative (let me finish) with that he doesn't like any of the out there Fortnite items, cars, and Marvel items but when the games more so simple like Reload he has a fun time. Personally I like items like the cars and Marvel items as I knew how to play against them and how to properly use them while for reload I find frustrating as it's too aggressive and really unfair at times. Ninja glazes Chapter 4 (Kinda like Sypher with early Chapter 2 though I do agree with Chapter 2 being peak) even though taking one look at his old videos shows he had much more frustration in Chapter 4 compared to how he acts about it now. Ninja just wants the game to basically stay the same and not try new things which is what reload basically is for him. Personally I don't even really enjoy watching Ninja as while he is being honest in his eyes, I'm also being honest and having a good time with Wrecked, Absolute Doom and Remix while he's just complaining about the whole thing or just not playing well 4:14 he has shockwaves and a full set of Nitro Fists but still fights the car head on with his assault rifle. And at 4:36 the Iron Man gloves didn't get him killed there it was a third party he still would've died even if the other player wasn't using them plus the fact he has visualised audio on and yet didn't react to the footsteps behind him until the Auto turret locked on him. he had a jetpack and could've ran to better cover to heal especially with the fact the other guy fell down the hill giving him time to heal or escape. I feel like Ninja just isn't as good as he once was. Personally I feel Ninja is that B!tch in your ear telling you that it sucks despite it being really fun. I'm honest with how I feel about the game and I'm not an epic partner in any way and I can say I found Chapter 2 Season 2 to be really fun. I won't get into full details as it will be too much to read but my favourite Fortnite season's are Nexus War, Absolute Doom, Spies, Flipped, OG, Remix, Underground and Wrecked. I feel criticisms are fair but in Ninja's case if all he does is complain and not enjoy the game I think he should take a break. That's what I did in Chapter 4 when I wasn't enjoying it. And I've come back and I'm having a good time. I can understand why Courage doesn't want to listen to Ninja (not just because TH-cam positivity) But because he's trying to play the game and have fun and Ninja's just complaining. (If I was laying with one of my friends and he was just complaining the whole time "Valid or not" I would just want to focus on playing the game so I can actually have a fun time. I can talk with him later like in the lobby but not right in the middle of a game) Anyway that's my thoughts if you took the time to read this thank you. Have a good rest of your day
For me personally, I find the Gane the funniest when it's balanced. And when I die, I can go back and be like "oh I missed a shot, or I gave up high ground." But when there is nothing I could have done, that's when I get frustrated. For example, last season, I was playing trios, and we got sprayed by 3 guys using a war machine and instantly died. There was nothing we could have done differently except running away and hoping another team would take them out instead. That's when I find the game isn't fun when I can't see a way for myself to improve.
i have not seen much of ninja these days, the most i’ve seen is him talking about how the “low taper fade” meme is one of the biggest memes ever. it’s kinda cool to see what he’s turned into

It's crazy to think we live in an age where Ninja isn't considered a sweat. Back in the day, he was the best builder and shooter there was. Times a changin'.
He's been completely out of the game since like 2020, whatcha on about
His aim and movement are still top notch. The dude just can't build. If he concentrated fully, he could be a competent builder in pubs, but not in competitive.
He should just be honest about that instead of pretending it's because of ping.
Now 14 year olds are the sweats
@@John6-40is he worse at building now, yes. Does ping play a very important role in winning build fights absolutely. He isn’t wrong

He's a good guy but, you haven't know him since the halo days if you "never" understood the hate.
Because he speaks the truth, people hate that
He can be a hypocrite at times, he also can be annoying at times take him and nadeshot in warzone a while back for example, he kept yapping because he was killed and had to spectate, and nadeshot couldn't focus.

Both him and Sypher changed into shills.
its cause Ninja realizes he doesn't need fortnite. He just wants to have a good time, and if hes not having that hes going to be vocal
He is honest. The low taper fade meme is massive
“What are your thoughts of the new season”?
“Can I be honest?”
“Yes”
“Disappointing”
“Dude, it’s your first game!”
So why did they ask?
Well said 👏🥹

Ch1 lived up to the hype. This is the best season of Ch2 BY FAR and I still see the flaws.
Plus I really don't get your point, because we're not looking back on Ch2. We're playing it.
Ninja has actually been very consistent (unlike his pals) in his opinion of Ch2. Ninja always hated Ch2. Even back then.
Ch2 was when he quit Fortnite for long stretches and played Valorant and other games.
Didn't know Sypher was still kicking. God, it hurts to watch him and Courage.
Ninja just grew up; he's got the money and now his head is clear.
And god damn you were hitting that shit
imagine if ninja had a high honest opinion?
@@rossdevin9799you’re working shifts at Fortnite that is nothing to be proud of

im not seeing enough movement💃💃💃💃🕺🕺🕺🕺
dude that play at 2:17 was so unimaginably professional and fire there is no way I would think of that. you are a top tier player bro 😭
