      Thanks! It's quite simple, tedious, and will flake off over time. I basically made stencils from packaging paper, striping masking tape, and rattle can paint. You dont want to let the tape or paint sit long or it will take the shine off the foam. Used a very light coat of rattle can paint, followed by two more coats. Some spots I did not use any masking tape and conformed the paper to the skin tight prior to painting. The bottom pattern is 1" masking tape, the top is a mixture of tape over stencils created from free hand and a french curve

    is it hard to find a thermal with alula?

      Since it’s designed for slope by nature it won’t signal for lift like a thermal duration glider would. But I’ve caught several non sloping thermals with it… it’s no composite dlg though. The Alula is a great learning platform for dlg and slope. I’d like to always have one in my hanger as it can take a beating and still brings a smile to my face when I fly it in various conditions and locations. It’s one of the good ones!
