    Beautiful lecture. Whilst listening to this I could not help but remember the following verse:
    ‎وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا۟ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ (2:115)
    “And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah . Indeed, Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”
    As a believer (mu’min) I strive to become god-conscious (mutaqi). Indeed Ahlulbayt do not fall short in showing us how this is done. Praising Ahlulbayt as they deserve alone makes their very presence redundant. They have been sent by Allah so that through them Allah can be known through the realisation of Tawhid (Oneness).
    Thank you for this lecture, may Allah grant you a long life so that you may continue to share the truth.

    Some of the narratives that come out from our communities are frustrating at times. It’s unfortunate but it’s really not when you see that our madhab has always been attacked (bloody), so to defend it, we went through some tunnel vision (it was needed) in preserving what was being attacked which is the Ahlul-Bayt (as). We don’t get attacked for Tawheed and Nabuwat and became passive on these pillars (or roots).

    There is a difference between the Taking as One of someone who is merely monotheist and The Making One that maintains the unity of religion.
    I have met people from Saudi Arabia who had no clue who the Wahhabis were and I don't find much of what is called such in the writings of Ibn Abdul Wahhab and Ibn Taymiyyah, but they would agree that not only should one never be an enemy to the House of The Prophet, but also not to any Muslim.

    We were given the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) so we would have no doubt in religion. They are with the Qur'an and the Qur'an is with them. I confidently follow them and know that I am doing what Allah wants me to do. I can therefore practice and be happy in my practice. So many people have doubts and are plagued with worries about if they are even doing what they're supposed to do, even when it comes to hadiths. Is this even true? Did the Prophet (s.) really do this or say that? Looking at the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) that stress is gone. They correct the record and explain and show and guide.

    0:23 "We should not talk about Allah" (Swt). I completely disagree.
    There is so much content about The Justice of Allah Swt, The Qadr of Allah Swt, The Names of Allah Swt.
    Our whole journey is to Allah Swt.
    We can find this evident as well in dua Abu Hamza Thomali that says that we can get to Allah Swt even without an intercessor. That is not to say intercession does not exist.

    Tawheed is literally EveryTHING. Yet everyone thinks that the real point of religion is to follow some rules. LOL. Tawheed is the ONLY THING and EVERYTHING. For There are NO Things. The world of Things is Illusion.
    Understand the ways of Tawheed and the straight path becomes obvious. that which divides is not with Tawheed. That which makes 4 into 2 .and 2 into 1 and 1 into 0 is with Tawheed.
    You and I are not. ONLY ALLAH IS. Simple. No need for "religion". This is the basic fundamental truth of Reality that all become blind to when they proclaim.. "I am" ... the first blasphemy.. No foolish mankind.. ONLY ALLAH IS... for that "I" is the first idol placed in man's heart..and the one that gives birth to all other idols.. and the idol or veil that divides his vision from Truth... aka AL HAQQ. Mankind only worships a divided god born out of his divided heart which born from this divided identity..and thus he cultivates a divided world..and gives seed to endless ignorant competition and conflict.. and thus knows nothing of the ways of Peace. And this I which all mankind love and adore has fueled this ignorant competition in the world of man to the point that man is now on the verge of destroying the very system of life on this Earth which he is dependent on. He has forgotten the ways of Oneness that every new born baby knows.. for a new born has no concept of "I am".

    Allah is the Most Just. He does not give examples or role models which you yourself cannot become. All prophets of God and all Imams and all such personalities were human beings just like you and me. God did not choose them any more than he chooses you and me. They just chose God far more than other humans. Remember Allah is Just. To give a role model which is impossible for you to become is not the trait of a Just God. So indeed.. if you want to reach the height of the potential of the human state of being.. then by all means.. live the inner path and do not be a foolish devotee of this false world.

      I think there's a misunderstanding. Because Allah is just, he chose people to be prophets and made them infallible. For example, if someone claimed to be a prophet of Allah, and told you stealing is haram, then you saw them stealing stuff like it's nothing, you will start having doubts about what they are telling you. Maybe they're lying? Maybe they're not prophets? How could you know?
      Also, if a prophet could sin, some nations might tell Allah (SWT) on the day of judgement that they didn't follow their prophet because he was sinning. For example: if Musa (AS) told pharaoh "I'm right you're wrong follow me" pharaoh wouldn't follow him, no one would. I'm not saying that pharaoh followed Musa (AS), but I'm saying that because Musa (AS) is infallible, pharaoh has no excuse for not following him.

      @@mohamedkashwani950 So if God makes someone infallible then there is no merit in it nor any greatness in it. Infact to me that is an insult and disrespect to the ultimate inner jihad the prophets of God all fought. Also it negates Free Will. Think brother. Nobody has been taught the Absolute Truth. This world corrupts Haqq as soon as it enters this realm for this is the world of illusions and it requires one who is finnah fi Allah to discern what is what.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Salaam Alaikum Andre. It seems you are here at Thaqlain for the first time and your question suggests that you have very little exposure to the character of Prophet's progeny. We welcome you to a channel which aims to connect people to the two things Holy Prophet left for our guidance and on which all Muslims agree: The Quran and Prophet's Progeny.
      Imam Ali and the Imam's from Prophet's progeny are the manifestation of Allah on Earth. Allah has bestowed us all humans with the capacity to control his creations (as mentioned in the Quran). The key is to follow Allah. As the Prophets and Imams are the epitome of being obedient to Allah, the creatures including celestial bodies are their obedient. So yes, Imam Ali did ask the sun to rise back from west. It is a narration mentioned by a lot of books from both Sunni and Shia sources :)

    • @corpsefoot758
      @corpsefoot758 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is in a Hadith that he did so, but not with his own power obviously; he asked Allah for permission to perform the miracle first, and after he was done he performed Sujood right in front of everyone, so it was clear that he worshipped a god infinitely more powerful than himself
      Same thing applies with his lifting the door of Khaybar alone, or even with older miracles of Islam like our Prophet Musa turning his staff into a snake. All of these miracles are favors bestowed by Allah to prove that the person performing them is a higher being than ordinary mankind
      And I believe the story was not “the sun rising from the west”, but more that his companions were late for salaat that day, so he performed this miracle to “save” their prayers being on time, so to speak
      I know a common accusation against Shi’a is that we somehow try to turn the Prophet and his Imams into gods as well, so here is a short story explaining the opposite:
      Somebody saw Imam Ali sitting at his dinner mat, struggling to tear a piece of bread in half. The person asked him, “Ya Ali, aren’t you the same man who tore the gate of Khaybar off of its hinges? Why are you so weak now that simple food is giving you trouble?”
      The Imam replied, “When I was breaking that gate, I was granted strength from Allah. Now that I eat my meal here, I am drawing strength from myself.”
      Hopefully that helps explain the matter
