My dad raised some beef cattle. He would get calves from the neighbors dairy like you do. We fed them with a bucket like you were doing. See most channels using bottles. Had wondered if any body still used a bucket. Brought back memories. Always enjoyed feeding the calves. Thanks for sharing.

I had a veggie farm/greenhouse business for over 40 years in northern NY, but closed it 2 years ago. I enjoy watching you guys because I can relate to so much you do, but not get a back ache! I used to love ordering seeds and trying new kinds. I also used Stokes and Seedway. Another good one is Rupp Seeds. The tomatoes you showed were some of my favorites as well. If I tried new kinds, I gave them 2-3 years and if I had good results, I included them in my regulars. Like you, I grew better boys and big beefs (along with early girls, jet stars, etc.)as part of our retail plants..I tried for years to educate customers about the good points of the newer hybrid varieties, but they still just wanted mostly the "beefsteaks" and boy varieties because they knew the names! A couple of my other favorites were sunbrite(large, blemish free fruit with good disease resistance), and mountain spring(nice size, flavor and quality for a second early variety). We generally grew 15-20,000 tomato plants in our fields and those 2 varieties made up about 40% of the total plants. Love your tongue-in-cheek humor, especially Andrew and Dad. Buh bye!

I used to load up a pickup truck with side racks in less than an hour with only a coal shovel, I was a beast! It was hard work but it was fun to challenge myself to see how fast I could fill and stomp on it to pack it down then fill some more, I wish I was in that good of shape now😞

Try Jordan seed in Minnesota. The open pollination you can buy for very little. I have sent their seeds to Zambia to support the work a pastor to feed the children orphaned because of A.I.D. S. The old heirloom do great. Danish ball head cabbage, rutgers tomatoes, nantes carrots are the favorite to name a few.

Thank you so much for the sharing of the seed information, catalogs and companies you use! Based on your kind words and recommendation of OSC I reached out to them for a catalog. I am in Kansas now, but I was born and raised in North Central Pennsylvania and that is where all of my family still is. So, it made my heart smile when I got their catalog in the mail! 💕 I'm planning on buying all of my pumpkin seeds from them for 2021. I think it will be neat to know that my pumpkins will come from seeds from back there! May sound silly to some, but makes my heart happy! 🥰 We travel home once a year to see my family. This year was the one exception with all the crazy. 😔 I am really hoping though that in 2021 we can make the trip and I want to visit your farm store! We love traveling around to different small towns when we are back there or traveling around the Midwest too and finding family farm markets like yours! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! 😍 Keep Up The Great Things You Do!!! 👍👍

Andrew, amigo, I've been wanting to grow Plum Crimson tomatoes ever since I first saw you picking baskets of them, but couldn't find seed. Then in this video you named off the seed companies you order from and I said OH GOODY! And then... checked the websites of the companies... and unfortunately if I ordered the smallest quantity they had, it would take me about 20 lifetimes to grow that many tomato plants. LOL. And darn it, they were out of stock to boot. I hope you guys got your seeds before they ran out, anyway!
