Question 1: F Question 2: D Question 3: The concentric zone model is similar to the trunk of a tree. As the city ages and grows over time we see it expand outwards in all directions, the model uses rings to illustrate this. With older homes and buildings located near the center of the city and newer development located on the outside. Question 4: The multiple nuclei model has different nodes and center points to a city. Each node attracts certain businesses, services, and people. The galactic model is based off of the multiple nuclei model but takes into account advancements in transportation and also changes to the spatial layout of society. This model has edge cities that are located on the outside of the model, these cities are connected by a belt way which allow people to travel around the city from edge city to edge city. Here we still see different nodes for an urban area, but people no longer have to go into the city to be able to get the goods/services they need. Question 5: There is three different CBDs in this model. 1) A market 2) A traditional CBD 3) A colonial CBD ( This CBD is influenced by historical events and is set up more as a city in Western Europe.) Question 6: 1) Advancements in transportation 2) Advancements in infrastructure 3) Globalization 4) Advancements in technology 5) Advancements in communication 6) Changes in consumer habits 7) Changes in how people work, with more people being able to work remotely Question 7: Southeast Asian City Model
@@iesaTX Its okay! Remember you put in the work all year, remember to read each question thoroughly and same goes with the frqs, remember to breathe!! I'm in the same boat but we will both do great! :)
Hi Mr. Sinn! Thanks for all the videos, I've been watching them while taking my school course and it's been really helpful :) I was wondering if the videos you make covers all the content required in the AP human geography exam? It wouldn't mean AP 5 score, but does it cover all the course and description? I want to recap by watching all your videos again, but I wanted to make sure I am learning all the things I need in the exam! Thanks again for your amazing work for us!
Thank you for the kind words and the great question. Each video focuses on a specific standard in the CED. The goal of the videos is to cover all of the major concepts from each topic in the course. The videos are an excellent review of all of the major topics, and I try to cover everything in the course. However, I know there is some vocab that you might need to know that is not in the video, or there could be an example of a concept that I did not directly talk about in the video that could be on the test. So long story short, the videos are an excellent tool to use to prepare for the AP test. But it is possible that a couple things here and there are not in them.
dang, that sucks, my teacher has been jumping from unit to unit which is a little confusing, so right now I am doing unit 3 when I just finished unit 7, back to unit 6, etc, although I am getting a lot of into and everything is just tying in. Mr sinn is still a good resource so hopefully you do good on the exam. If you need help then you should join the discord server.
