Street racing has been around as long as cars have. This is not street racing. This is a street takover. Street racers dont want the cops to show up. They want to race and then move on. These people are just looking for attention.

Motorcycles headlights turn automatically with the bike, you cannot turn them off. It is impossible to light fireworks from a moving motorcycle. How is someone driving 130 mph also aiming laser pointers? These guys sound like super hero's, they can see in the dark, defy the laws of physics, and mutlitask while nearly killing themselves and all around them. These guys should be the police, not being arrested by them.
I’ve been on 635 Express twice on different Saturday afternoons just minding my business trying to get home. The first time it was Ford Mustangs that were racing. The second time was motorcycles racing 4 wide! The 4th racer was on the yellow line! I was directly behind the bikes that slowed down the traffic so they could do their rolling start. Not gonna lie, it was cool to see but it was extremely dangerous. I recognized what was happening but I feared other drivers wouldn’t.
I don't see how they could criminally prosecute a citizen on a public sidewalk watching something take place in front of them that is illegal. Seems like a constitutional rights violation. That person would have had to have been breaking the law. Pedestrian in the roadway, exciting the crowd to violence, or something similar.
@@shanepallette I think they mostly go after people that are cheering for the drivers and egging them on. The majority of these street racers are doing this for attention. If nobody is enjoying the show some may get bored and stop.
I would go Front Street in South Philly to watch street races. It was great until two cars lost control and slammed into parked cars and spectators. To this day , 47 years later I can recall the collision sounded like thunder.

Have you ever looked in the drivers license study book?? Every state lists at least 8pts against your license if ticketed for racing. There are already laws on the books for street racing. Enforcement needs to step up. The best solution is to outlaw these race bikes from being sold in this country and make it impossible to get them registered to begin with.
States that take the initiative to curb biker street racing with harsher punishment need to start outlawing crotch rockets being sold at dealerships. These bikes are basically race ready from the manufacturers. You can’t drive race cars in the streets but here bikes are capable of speeds in excess of 200 mph. Male crotch rocket bike mentality is criminal mind mentality. There is much to do to keep these morons off the public roads.
They don’t need to outlaw selling bikes at dealerships. If so, they also need to ban Porsche dealerships, Ferrari, lambo, and outlaw the Charger Hellcat. I have a ZX6R and I love super bikes, but I’m still responsible and don’t act like this.
