I had one similar in that it was 100 W but the head was in a 4X12 bottom, so it was a one piece amp. Sounded fine when working but kept blowing up. After the 4th time I retired it but still have it because the bottom is still going strong. Because of the number of times it let me down by blowing up, I rate it the worst amp I ever had.
@@castleanthrax1833 It's a single cabinet with a space on the top for the head and the bottom is the speakers. Thus......Bottom. Actually. Just like any other combo amp with the head or electronics on top, and the speakers in the bottom. Or do you call a Fender twin reverb a speaker cabinet? I cannot post a photo so look up 2078 JMP Lead 100 Solid State Guitar Amplifier. Sheesh.
I’ve still got the 1976 100w Marshall 2095 lead and bass Love it ! 😊
Some of those tones were incredible. Further proof that you really need to dime an amp to get the best out of it.
Agree. Especially these older amps. They were still (somewhat) designed for clean headroom. You really need to make them work hard.
You must be on really good terms with your neighbors. 😂
I'm very lucky that where I work is deserted at the weekends and also miles away from anyone! Can't get away with this volume at home.
sounds like fun
I got tinnitus just watching this 😎.
2:07 Queen!

Cheers, you're very kind. It's one of three replica Vox UL7120 style cabs I made a few years ago. They don't get out much!
