This does not work with the new TC radius, has stability issues when trying to reach top frames to outer TC. The TC has to be more then 5 foundations away from main TC. Think it's 7 and allows you to place TC. That's to far for the frames to reach. Any other suggestions on how to make this work?

@@badooya doesnt it matter where the tc is in the base tho? like unless the tc is in the exact center of your base it'll be different distances away from your externals
@@ponger69 It's not the tc that gives the building priv, but the foundations - so the building range extends from your outermost foundations, not your actual tc location.
I think you might need a director, this video content is backwards. The tc house build is first, then the build off the base is second and then comes the explanation as to why you would do it. It should be flipped. Description first, then the build off the base demo and then the tc house demo.
How do you make this if you don't have a gatehouse? I just want an external TC for my main base. It says how to attach it to "ANY BASE" but you only explain a gatehouse.
Honestly it’s preference but the benefits are better fps, easier to hit shots because targets are wider, and overall more smooth gameplay considering it has to render less pixels on ur screen
Hi, new to the game here. Lets say I built the gate houses, wont they decay if I dont put the externals? Are external TCs needed if you wanna add those gate houses?
@@badooya I didn’t. I have the gate house to the external set up exactly how you did. But I have triangle foundations from the other side of the gate house going to the side of my main base(not connecting tho)

So you cant have disconnectable tcs attached to youre base correct? And if they raid they wont be able to place tc down unless its disconnected? Even if its not attached to you're main base?

Yeah so the gatehouse is not going to decay and the tc is in range of ur base to the point where if the main one breaks, this one takes over. I’m not sure if this matters in console

Roof triangles are not connecting between gate and external tc. It’s like one centimeter too far it barely is missing the connection. Any idea? Around 2:30 in the video
The simplified answer is overlapping. All the externals are just barely far enough away where it doesn't cover where your normal TC is once disconnected
I tried this on some random base that my friend built, but the gate house was destroyed when I logged back in, did I make a mistake and if so what could it be?
I connected the gate house and put upkeep in the external tc. I think the base design or me not connecting it to the main base is the reason why it decayed.
if your mane TC is gone and you want to replace it , do you need to disconnect the externals first ? and once you replaced your mane TC can you reconnect the external TCs
You wouldn't want them too, the point of the gatehouse is that it's independent of main Base so upkeep cost less and acts as a TC protector to main base from the external TC that the gatehouse will use to upkeep itself.

I got greifed because someone was able to put tc on my roof if I add wall frames going up from the gatehouse will it prevent that?

You don’t. External tc connects to gate house, and tc areas overlap which prevent tc being replaced without disconnecting 👍

I cant get the disconnectables to disconnect... this has something to do with the stability patch? are there still any of them working?
If you can't disconnect them you didn't use halve walls. I just tested it, still works.

It does not work for me, it just says "you cannot connect two buildings with two tcs" or a message like that
It might mean one of them is too close so u might have to redo the build outs and make sure they are measured correctly

You are correct but using the build out method that I show u can make the perfect distance everytime no matter the base

Yes, for disconnectables do not connect to main base, also u might have it too close to your base and it won’t let you place

You would need to connect it to something so you could just connect it to a foundation in range of ur base tc

I agree, it’s better to have multiple TCs, it is cheaper than one big being held up by one TC
