Classic 4x4s on The Rusty Nail Trail in Moab, Utah during Easter Jeep Safari 2024

- This is a reposting of a video of a group of vintage 4x4s taking on one of Moab's toughest trails, Rusty Nail. After reaching the top of Rusty Nail they exit the trail system via Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim trails.
I am reposting this due to some errors in the original video.

Hey thanks for the reboot. Again, I really like how you included various camera angles on several rigs going thru "No Left Turn", shows people how gnarly that obstacle actually is. Your skill navigating that obstacle is impressive👌

@@Kevins-offroading.it’s still there in some cases but I’ve mostly just worked on my technique. If you look at the 45:45 mark on this video, then you can compare it to 17:17 in last years video:

Love you videos, love the almost stock jeeps, anyone can go over obstacles with 35" tires and above,a lot easier. I have a 94 yj with only 32" tires it's a lot more challenging to pick the rite line, last year was my first time in Moab and will be coming back in 2026.

It's awesome to see those old farts out on the trail still getting the job done. Question- I thought NDTs were shit? I was told once by a guy that plays with Deuces that those NDTs suck on the street. They sure don't look it here, though.
It is my experience that NDTs get a way worse response from people than they deserve. They are a lityle slippery on wet pavement and sink like a rock in a pond on dry, sour sand. I am very happy with them and feel they are the correct tire for a flatfender jeep. Your milage may vary.

Is there any info on Bam Bam's X98 t-case gear set? I know its MB, but is it running the MB T-18 T-case or later model?
Jeff is running a later model 18 case, but I can' recall if it's the 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" idler shaft. I think he can set up for either. He has a really neat thread on his development, trials and tribulations on the CJ2A page.

Bam Bam needs a new Bod Bod .
Jeff just needs to build new rear quarters like he did with the front fenders. Stock looking but bash resistant, he did a beautiful job on those.
