Utau Teto sings better the "no" and "wanna" part while SynthV Teto seems to struggle trying to reach at that note. But then again, they are both the same good.
Yeah, maybe Teto SV don't have the growl UTAU does but that's something we might see in future or users manage to recreate a growl.

do you know what's going on with the technical tearing? the tuning doesn't sound bad but it has some weird technical stuff going on, mostly on UTAU teto but a bit on synthv teto too
I noticed that too, I think it might be because I made it on OpenUTAU which sometimes makes the sounds render differently than usual UTAU..
and for the synthv, it might be because something happened when I converted the UST to an SVP file but i'm not entirely sure

I know it wasn’t your intention, but this is a kinda unfair comparison because the resampler used is literally ”malfunctioning” and not being compatible with her UTAU at all 🥲 and as for her English voicebank, it’s very hard to use and will sound really strange and choppy unless you make sure modulation is set to 0, and requires a bit of manual editing to sound good.
again, i don’t blame you since you just rendered them directly, but i just wanted to point out that UTAU Teto is able to sound really nice and high quality too!
yeah i know its not great but i didn't wanna use someone else's tuning so I just did it myself.. I guess it kind of suffices lol?
I wanted to use the original UTAU but I already had OpenUTAU downloaded so I went with that lol

When I first heard Teto being so clear, I was honestly amazed.
I definitely prefer the UTAU over the newer one. I dunno something about it stands out.
I love both equally imo, but yea the UTAU one still has its charm that the synthv one is lacking, which is the robotic, metallic sound. Both are great for different purposes I think :)

you have to have her paid voicebank to do it ^_^ if you are using her lite there are ways to make it sound like english tho, maybe i'll make a video on it sometime

Just gonna say it. AI Teto is not Teto. I religiously listen to UTAU covers and I was excited for a new Teto Era don't get wrong- it's just they wanted her to sound too realistic and that's what really looses it for me ((kinda like Miku's NT VB))
Luckily we always have the UTAU Teto to come back to and I don't think it'll stop being popular because it's free. I love the new one's realism but I do agree that the old one has this robotic charm that's just so special. I like both though

I always view roboticness as a limitation of Vocaloid/UTAU's era of technology than an actual part of the voice's identity. AI Teto should only not be Teto if her voice is different. It's like saying someone isn't the same singer just because they switch to a better mic quality.
She didn't replace utau. The community immediately welcomed her as a TWINdrill and they harmonize amazingly when used together.
Have you listened to her utau raw samples? They are not the best quality, now they are professional studio recordings.
I love oyamano mayo live performances so synthV is quite lovely on its own.
@@Sorana914 never said it did. I just don't think she sounds like Teto, I usually use Yamine Renri for this example. She has a UTAU and SynthV voice bank, but they both still sound like the same, I was just saying that I feel like new VB's try to be realistic and I can't really hear Teto in SynthV.
