    That's more power with almost 700LBS less then a Track hawk !

      And yet it still can’t beat a stock Trackhawk lol. The 1/4 mile World Record for a stock Hawk is 11.25. Let me know when a FORD ST even comes close to an 11.5.

      @@theodenrem that’s slower than a Trackhawk with just an upper pulley and tune. Not impressed. Trackhawks with a pulley and tune cut mid 10s. With a tire 10.2s 10.1s. Mod for mod the ST just can’t hang. It’s nice SUV, but no comparison

      @@EastCoastJeepSRT cool man. So record-setting Trackhawks with a pulley are about as fast as a tune-only X3M on E50. Congratulations.

    Just bought one a few weeks ago, trading in a b8 s4 and 2014 Ford transit connect. I wonder what kinda longevity one might expect out of such a tune

      I thin you'd be surprised how many tuned FBO ST's are dropping kids off at the school yard. The only rumor we've heard is about plug life. You may want to ping some of the owners to see what their experiences are. Or contact Adam at ZFGracing directly.

    Having had 5 cars with e85 tunes, I can't stand hunting around for true e85. It's 93 pump tunes or bust for me going forward. Was this 30k in parts and labor?

      100% I'd like to see what this platform will do max effort on 93 pump gas. e85 is scarce in the tristate area as well.

    Will these injectors work in other EcoBoosts? Namely a F150 Gen1 3.5 (2011-2016)

    • @NostrumHP
      @NostrumHP  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These injectors are specifically for the 3.0L Nano Ecoboost. Each engine's combustion system is a little different, some very different. In order to get the best quality combustion we believe application specific solutions are the right answer. 3.5L Ecoboost Ge1 is a different injector core, orientation, and spray pattern. We would not recommend these for the 3.5...and maybe there is a new solution coming soon.....maybe.

    Such a sleeper. Imagine a quiet idling explorer st with 650whp lining up with a trackhawk,Cherokee srt, trailblazer ss, Porsche cayenne turbo s or Bentley bentayga and just blowing there doors off. This would be a great street grude racing suv. Not many stock or bolt on only suvs will be able to beat this.

    • @elcolin_

      I love the Explorer ST and many others you listed. I'd love to see what my Cayenne Turbo (non S) could do against one. I'm modded as well, tune, exhaust, intakes... well over the 550hp it comes with stock. It would be a fun run. Wonder which is heavier. I'd love to get to 4 digits. I think it'd be easy.

    Could the same be done to the 2019 Sport or Platinum? It’s basically the same platform -50 or so HP and the ST badge/upgrades wasn’t enough to sell me on the price difference. What kind of tune/upgrades would be needed from a stock Sport/Platinum to achieve similar results?

    • @JusNov16

    How much horsepower do you think you could produce and still keep the car reliable/streetable?

    • @NostrumHP
      @NostrumHP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would be surprised how many 525whp ST's are rolling around with NHP fuel systems. It's so easy: Intercooler, AIS, NHP stage1, ZFG pump E85 tune! Once you get into big turbo, even the hybrid turbos like Corey has, it starts to get expensive. Stage 2 limits are actually transmission: 600ftlbs is really pushing the stock trans. Even at 600+whp, Coreys ST is very streetable and reliable. Once you get to the massive builds like Kevin's 700+ whp ST, it starts to be a really big $$ build.

    • @heroinpapi1845

      @@burtonh1 from what I’ve read the engine bay isn’t big enough in an explorer which doesn’t make sense to me but oh well that was actually my dream build I wanted to drop a coyote into the explorer and supercharge it but maybe the older v8 models might do well with it.

    • @NostrumHP
      @NostrumHP  ปีที่แล้ว

      We love supercharged V8s too. But unfortunately all the OEMs have shifted their strategies to EVs, and the ICE strategy really drives to smaller displacement boosted engines. After the LT4 is gone (its only available in the Escalade V now), only the GT500 S/C v8 will remain. And that will eventually end too. What is it they say, "all good things come to an end"? But hey, twin turbo everything!!!!!!! 😃
