What a wonderful interview. Always enjoyed going to his shows, he’s such a great performer, and quite the comedian. Peter was so lucky to perform at The Cavern at such a young age...when my girlfriends and I were 16 we hitchhiked from London to Liverpool, and because of our age they wouldn’t let us in! 🙁
Another great interview. I'm a HHs/ Peter Noone fan since their " Birth"- The singles, LPS, TV appearances- but short story I saw Peter with his Hermits Peekskill NY Nov 18, 2020 and the show was Great. I swear those same fans from NYC audiences are still present there. They are " Noone -atics". I'm still thrilled after 5 days. Sat in the 3rd row and Peter came out into the audience singing- even bearing gifts for some- shirts and CDs. Then he signed autographs after the show!!! Can't wait to go back. I spoke to him and said" I remember seeing you and Eric Idle on Laverne and Shirley( TV show). He smiled......
I've always been interested in linguistics. I've read many times that accents often stay if you're confident in yourself and are happy not to blend in. Same as people like Craig Ferguson, the late Patrick Macnee, Jeff Lynne - accents well established by the time they moved to the US and didn't feel the need to adopt a US accent. Plus it's a nice USP - helps makes them stand out..
I’m so glad Peter is such a well rounded, down to earth, good man. Makes a good combination with all the talent, sense of humor and intelligence he has. I love this interview with him. 🥰💙👏👏👏👏👏🙌 He ceases to let me down in his ways of a great entertainer and a human being❣️Please keep up the good work you share and happiness you bring to others, Peter Noone. 👍🏻✅ Much love and good vibes sent your way good Sir❣️🙏 May you and your family and band members always have the wind to your back. Rock on... 💞❌⭕️❌💞
*Really poor audio and visual on this 'train wreck'...complete w/a GIANT BLUE GLASS* *Noone says some things from the 'old days' that are very significant* *"We were all mates then, all the bands...we competed with each other, but we all wanted everyone to succeed and be popular"* *That's really quite something, when someone from one band would 'fill-in' for someone that was sick in another band!* *Or loan instruments out for something missing...!* *"A rising tide lifts all the boats" philosophy was practiced of 'What's good for them is good for us too'-type thinking that makes sense because of how little most bands had to work-with on a daily basis, and very little money as well 'in them days'* ( *"Lennon loaned us his 'Gibson Jumbo' because another band would be late and we had to fill-in more time and do some more of 'our tunes' and we didn't have an acoustic with us a song needed...things like that happened all the time"* ) *It's good to hear "How it really was" back when English bands were still 'new' and a "We have to stick together to make things work for all of us" was the rule*
I listened to the interview Peter Noon did with Elvis. So disappointing to the questions Peter asked Elvis pointless and waisted opportuninity he could have asked something that was more fitting for an artist of Elvis stature Peter Noone. Certainly not sincer sad to say.
Is that really the best you can say? He was just young and probably a bit silly at the time, and more than likely very nervous too. To be old and wise you first have to be young and silly. Good on you Peter Noon, you are obviously a very kind hearted person and deserve the wonderful life you have had😊
@@2ulurutoo not knocking Peter at all . I thought he was ok in the interview..i was just saying what Marty lacker said not me..he never said it was the interview he was being a smart ass. It's in the Memphis mafia..but I get you on the young n dumb stuff I think Pete is great very down to earth

Wonderful interview, such a nice person
So glad that Mr Noone comes across as a genuinely good person. May he always be so. Thank you for sharing.
Geez Peter. You've hardly aged over the years; you're still as cute as ever and your voice is instantly recognisable. Love ya 🥰 xx
So glad to see him so healthy and happy!
He has a beautiful attitude towards life. It comes through everything he does. He's a teacher in that sense.

Peter....great guy. Host.....continually drinking water and crunching with a mic and a camera on. Did professionalism go the way of the 33?

Does this host have a slow leak? His constant drinking during the interview is so annoying! Peter was great though!

Marty lacker said noone was trying to be a smart ass with Elvis..he said Elvis didn't like the way he went on

@Andreas_ sincer? And English is not your forte...sad to say. Peter was young; cut him some slack.
