Mattress makes a good broom for sweeping up the small debris with the excavator before you tear it up and mix it in. They are pretty tough for that. And it's kinda fun to grab a mattress and use it like a big rag.

you guys that are saying that it is great to see the machine up and running again must not pay attention to what is going on. It was the 220 that broke down, he is in the 160 today.
awesome demo video chris. i enjoyed watching the video and i was happy to see yet another demo video.i enjoy watching all of ur demo vids as it is something different to digging mud all the time, its a bit of a changer too. good to see uncle john driving the truck there, lot of truck loads you got there, good stuff.u were lucky that it didnt rain too heavy otherwise there would have been a big mud pit i think lol. the place looks nice and tidy now for the new motorhome that their gonna put there now. keep the videos comming chris.stay safe.
At least you didn’t find any surprise objects like you and Tim did on that one trailer demo.in glorious color on that bed and then the floor, just waiting to find a new home.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Once i lived in a trailer court and a families trailer caught on fire and the family had to disassemble the trailer and it took them about a week and a half by hand.
I was a Volunteer Firefighter for 32+ years. When we got a mobile home fire they were pretty much gone by the time we got there. They are more matchbox than home. That’s why insurance companies rate them poorly. About the only way to save one would be to already be standing by with a charged hose line when the fire started. ☹️
Looks great, most video cameras see though stuff like that. I was just watching "Post 10" and he wanted to show how much rain was coming down but the camera just wouldn't show it.
That's one manky looking portable palace. Raining? That means we'll get some here in Cumbria in 6 or 7 days & by 'eck do we need it. Summers here are usually mid 60's to low70's but it's been up over 80 for 2 weeks now.
Oh man I love demolition. Think everyone has covered all the funny little quips. Chris singing “sweep, sweep, sweep, sweeping up the trailer trash” 😂 Felt a little sad for the bicycle, it looked the best of all the rubbish. Awesome video Chris. Take care & cheers from 🐨🦘🥰
I do watch it for hours after the new one go back and watch old ones they are just as good the second or third time. I love chris' videos, keep them coming
Another successful demo job! Not being from the States, I would be interested in seeing where the rubbish is dumped. Maybe next time a couple of cameras mounted on the dump truck could add to your content. Much Respect from New Zealand
Oh! and by the way...was there any asbestos product in the building...Here in W.A. asbestos has to be carefully removed and plastic wrapped before going to landfill...cheers,,,
Chris, I see a new LD18 bucket design, slicer grapple with thumb slicer for demo jobs, it would chop everything up in small short pieces. I say it would work great with tree limbs too. Good job bro.
Someone, somewhere poured their heart and soul into building a home of sorts and probably raised a family. I would cry if this had been mine. But time's arrow is a bitch.
Wow! Look at all that Pink Stuff! Harvesting some succulent housemeat. Better Fry Em Up Real Good ;) Cookout time baby! Great video brother. Saved it to my I POD for viewing again my next leisure time. Take care, Bob
great video Chris .. just a thought good or bad idea ,, demo saw gas power ,, metal cutting blade ,, cut the frame and axle's on the mobile mansion could make it a bit more easy in the take down of it . also could cut the walls in sections to save on the mess ??? just a thought .. you have done a lot of these fine homes i am just the arm chair quarterback .. lol
I noticed the wrecking company that just razed the old school near my house loaded the trucks light. I guess the didn't want to take any chances on scattering debris.
Missed a perfect opportunity to line the bucket up with the door and say " Here's Johnny " and plow the excavator bucket through the front door.

Chris does "Furniture Deconstruction!" 👍
I'll bet they really hate appliances.
@@PaulyD0859 They probably stick those on one side for scrapyard runs.
Skorpy Nekomimi:
That's what Chris does with the appliances, so that the landfill doesn't have to.

I bet when you pulled in, that trailer house was like, "oh God, I've heard about this guy for years. I guess today is the day" 😆
Uh oh! Someone is going to be upset you didn’t save the wood from the deck. 🤣 Those demo jobs always seem to be the most fun.
That was someone's pride and joy at one time. All it needed was paint😎

I swear there’s nothing more satisfying then getting to do demolition work.
Except John taking a leak in the woods
I think this should be a ride at the fair. 1 ticket gets you 5 min in the driver seat of the "beast" 😂😂 wouldnt that be fun!

One swift motion, we call that trying… lol very entertaining… Thankyou for the video… you guys do great work!!!
I have to admit, I love watching how methodical and precise Chris works. Always feels like there is little to no wasted movement.
0:40.., Chris edited out the bit where a gentleman opened the door to the singlewide in a smoking jacket and said (excuse me Sir, may I ask what the friar tuck you are doing?).
He also edited out the part where John wandered to the back corner of the lot to find a good tree to water. (57:25)
It looked like Glue was holding that Porch. lol.
Chris just demonstrated how easy it was to remove a improperly constructed deck with the Volvo deck eliminator. Lol
Yea, it was like toothpicks!
“OH, DEAR JESUS”. I knew that was a Can of Paint, but didn’t realize it was full of paint. 😬👍
Do you know why a F5 tornado is faster than Chris. The tornado doesn't worry about making a big ass mess..........

It’s amazing how fast you got that frame balled up.
For all of you confused the machine he was running was the companies 160, NOT the 220 which is one of the machines having issues.
its his uncles 160 in the video but chris has his own machines a 220 and a dozer that are both broke
Think u are confused the 160 is the companys unit.

Most people move to a new home but here they crush the old home. Bring in the shiny new home. Even got indoor plumbing.
Chris probably thought about the new neighbors trailer during the entire demo. 😈
“When it won’t stay together, we go in one swift motion”. It falls apart. “We call that trying” I about spit my coke out laughing.

Yep, somebody was thrilled to death when that was new.

Do they screen for and remove metal and things at the landfill? or does the whole load get thrown in?
Glad to see you in a Volvo - still doing demolition. Hi Uncle John. A little rain is good for this kind of job,,,,keeps the dust settled.
That trailer was in a pretty location
Chris what kind of frame was that sheet metal. I think I worked with heavier angle for a lawnmower trailer.
If the trailer is rocking, don't come a knocking 😂🤣😂
Well you got some more wire to add to your pile . I would guess around $300 on that load of metal

aw man! that was the place at 2255 Sagamore Street! you were s’posed to demolish the one at 2525 SYCAMORE Street!
Exactly what these trailers look like when a tornado hits them. Only difference is a tornado only takes a few seconds.
@57:19 I guess Uncle John's Gatorade bottle is Full..haaaa
Who are the authorities that make doubly sure, one can demo a property?
Do you have to sheet up over the load as here in the UK?
I ran a excavator for 25 years, you have touch that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That would be so much fun, yet when you step back and think about it, somebody called that "home" at one time.
Now I can't get that excavator tune outta my head, "cleaning up the trailer trash..."
He did the mash, he did the Volvo Smash!
Bike looks to be in good shape even has the gvmnt approved seat setup.
How far is it to the dump?
Its hard to get rid of trailers in Texas. They usually are "struck by lightening" and burned.
I noticed the wrecking company that just razed the old school near my house loaded the trucks light. I guess the didn't want to take any chances on scattering debris.
It also beats an overweight ticket.
holy hell that edition was just sitting on them cement blocks not tied to nothing pick up sticks lol
If a twister hit it. It won't matter, everything would disappear.
