I loved my HHR, it was like driving a sports car on the road and had really comfortable leather seats, and a Bose sound system. Wish i still had it, 35 in town and over 30 on the highway
I remember an article about it in Popular Mechanics back in the early 80s!!! There was a 2 door Ragtop version with a 4 speed manual!! I think that one had a spunky V6!! (No Turbos)
The GMC Motorhome was Front Wheel Drive, they used an Oldsmobile Toronado engine and transmission setup and it was perfect. The GM Motorhome will always be a one of a kind, they are popular amongst classic motorhome collectors.
Correction: the GMC Motorhome was actually front wheel drive, using the Unitized Power Package from the Toronado and Eldorado, as well as the Rocket V8 engine. The rest of the floor was flat and low. Second, I own and drive a 2009 HHR 1LT Half Panel, and love every bit of it's heritage inspired design and modern quirkiness.
I like the Chevy HHR! Because it resembles the early 50s body style. And if the GM made engine fails, i would probably install an Isuzu engine in it!ð
That Car in the thumbnail is a Chrysler PT Cruiser!! I always thought they were kinda cool! I drove a rental unit and it was a nice riding car!! Not a lot of power but overall, not bad!!
Most of these models were anything but silly. Just check the auction values, today! Most notably, the '57 Cadillac Biarritz, GMC Motorhome, and Buick Reatta,
It's sad what the American car industry has become. GM built great, exciting cars until the 70s. After that, it was just junk. And now it's just boring SUVs and pickups.
I like GM made cars and trucks. With an Isuzu engine in it. Because Japanese engines are reliable. And the Pontiac Vibe. With Toyota Matrix engine..ð

Oh i like the Cadilac Cimeron

Because it is smaller. And with 4 or V6 engine, it's easyer in gas

The HHR does NOT have a split tailgate. It has a hatch and that is it. Decent little car that gets good gas mileage.
Bland "Cavalier" make over, except for the "SS" model.
Comment miners who are too lazy to narrate their own videos. I can only listen to this robotic narrator program for so long.
I agree 100%! Especially nauseating repetition "revolutions per minute" instead of simply "RPM". Gave me an "Excedrin" headache #2!!
I only like the Chevy SSR only if it has a 4 or V6 engine in it.
NOT LBS OF TORQUE
None of these cars are silly

Why have you got a picture of a PT Cruiser, a Mopar, product not a GM Vehicle, as the display for your video.
