Hi Liz, I followed your “regular” macaron recipe but batter was so runny it was not “pipe-able”. It was running out the piping bag, it was impossible to hold the tip vertically to get even, round Cookies. What did I do wrong? Did I not whip my meringue enough or did I over mix my batter?(I measured my ingredients using a scale and I stopped mixing right after being able to form a figure 8). Help please😬
I added about a cup to 4 cups of buttercream. But it’s up to you! If you want to just fill them with buttercream or ganache on their own, you can do that too
Hi I came across your recipe and I honestly love it! I would like to send them by mail to my daughter at NC would they get ruined? One more thing do the pistachio need to be unsalted? Thank you ❤
If you like peanut try it with chocolate ganach marshmallow fluff filling and then peanut powder next to the almond flour in the store. The best macaron if your a peanut fanatic hope you try it.
I’m finally early (Kinda)! but really, thank you for explaining everything so thoroughly. I was just telling my friend that I wanted to try making macarons for the first time, and this definitely helps😊
Hi Liz, I have a question that does not pertain to this video. My apologies!!!!! Love watching you and your recipes. You give me soooooo much motivation and drive to bake and try new recipes!!!! Thank you! Now my question, do you have a recommendation on where to buy good quality strawberries. The ones from the store are not always the best and the vary to much in sizes. I want to make goody/treat boxes but I want the same size strawberries. Thank you for your input
