Hey everyone! I have just updated this video due to game updates and due to me feeling like this information could have been better presented and explained. Here is the new video: th-cam.com/video/ykAb2YHDfJw/w-d-xo.html
I’ve been playing as Belarus a lot lately and I research 3 things at the start, basic infantry, superiority fighter, and gunships. Gunships are super effective early on, at least in early game. Just use fighters to secure the airspace for the gunships. Then I research tank destroyers. All together if you know how to use them all right it’s a potent combo from my experience
I do the same as Ukraine by investing heavily into gunships. I usually end up using them into late game if I’m not focused on other things, which works well backed with proper units to numb out any felons. I’ve always had great games using this strat.
I usually go with basic infantry, air superiority, and recon tanks for the first couple of days but then I move to armored fighting vehicle then the rest is just up to you after you got a few good divisions
Some questions i have. 1. What do you use your gold for? What is reasonable and what is unreasonable. 2. Victory points. Best thing is to conquer i guess, but what else? 3. How to deal with bad morale in conquered regions? always leave motorized infantry there until 35% morale? 4. Crysis management. What if you loose your capital for some reason. 5. What are solid unit compositions (really broadly) and transitions. Can you live without navy when you have a coastline, how to defend against ships then? 6. Here you explained a day1. What position you are in day 10 what you are focusing on. 7. How to balance unit mobilization, buildings and research? 8. Do you annex cities? Seems not reasonable from day1.
1- I’m not a gold user , but i gain gold winning games , so i mostly use it on resources when i’m at peace . 2-generally you want tp conquer cities (they are worth 5 VP) , provinces are worth only 1 . Some maps have victory sites (500 VP)and complex cities (50 VP) , capturing these would give you alot pf points. 3-keep at least 1 unit in the conquered city until the morale is 35% or higher , building bunkers in cities increases morale . 4-losing your capital is disastrous to your nation , your morale would drop significantly and you will struggle to hold your territories against insurgents. That said you can still comeback by rebuilding your capital or relocating it into another city , I managed to win games i lost my capital at the beginning so its doable. 5-The majority of units are ok when used properly , it depends on what you are facing (each game has its own story) . Some effective compositions early game are : 1- Infantry / Strike fighters 2-Infantry / Recon vehicles 3-Infantry / mobile anti air Basically anything works you just need to adapt and be able to counter naval and aerial threats . As for defending coastal cities without a navy , yes you can with naval patrol aircraft and ASW helicopters . But its not easy . 6- not mine to answer as you directly ask nick about his plan , but generally in day 10 your composition should be around 4 different units that your economy can produce and support . 7-the game tries to imply how hard is it for real world nations to acquire and sustain military economically , and they’ve done a good job with that . You have to make priorities, you cant just research and build everything you feel like building , you need to pick depending on your urgent nation needs and situation , keep expanding that helps your economy . 8- Yes its good to annex cities , they give you more resources and you can produce troops from those cities . Annexing a city at day 1 is not advised it would take a huge toll on your initial resources and make your vulnerable. But later in game yes go ahead and annex some cities .
@@skywrathmage6450 Agree except maybe 2 units so if an insurgent spawns it won't be a dog fight but what he said pretty much - I also like National Guard units to protect the homeland
Usually at 10:20 , the decision on who to attack should always fall to the country not in a coalition, you may be able to beat Cameroon however when your troops battle they will lose hp, but then their coalition partner (congo) will come in from behind and clean you up and your game will be over, you should only attack a coalition member if you know the closest one next to that country is inactive or less than a rank 7 which usually gives feeble or little to none response in retaliation
I've been playing for about 7 months or so. I won a battle ground USA game with Washington solo. You taught me so much haha You made me helped make me slightly better than beginner player

I'm going to say this, Norway is possibly on of the best nations to start out as, mainly because you are basically alone for the start allowing you to build up forces faster then others
I have to gently disagre. It's a good nation aslong Uk or othrr naval powers don't defeat you in the sea. Your cities are not close to each other and resources are limited. I like more UK or India, because with coalitions you can have a save start
I Sweden Finland and Norway is what I yell beginners to start w....and make friends either 1 or both of them so you can concentrate on Europe....India is a strong country as well alot of cities kind of close not many threats either

We are playing this game wrong. There should be an in game 60 days armistice at the begining of each round. Every country will get enough time to prepare defence. And attacking bot countries shouldn't be allowed. There should be strict consequence when a player capture any territory. Game should force players to keep the map intact.
That's golding, you wouldn't need it if you plan out your diplomacy gold early game and use the starting troops good and select the right research for your situation
Playing as Finland at the minute, Sweden and Russia have taken Estonia Latvia and Lithuania, in this case would you advise staying out of the way, building my economy and military until day 15 or so to launch an attack on sweden?
I have a problem when I enter the game from the computer and enter the server, the intelligence information appears to me in a large way, and this does not allow me to do my research. It is covered over the main board, and I do not know if it is from the settings or from the browser. Can you solve the problem

@@Lara-vn3fd Try to play the highlighted games. The ones with orange that say "special event". You need to be level 2 to join so this weeds out the people playing their first game as a tutorial. Also play the Rising Tides mode. This gamemode has 100 players. Usually after 4 days you can see that about half of the people in a game are afk and have left but this still leaves you with 50 players instead of the 15 in a flashpoint game. In rising tides there's also a 3 man coalition limit. I like this because it leaves you more people to fight and you don't have a single coalition taking over a whole continent right from the start.

You don't have to fight or struggle with the enemy at all. Buy gold, develop over 160 nukes and just nuke as much as you can. After you just arrive with an infantry division, you occupy the territory and that's the fastest way.

This strategy has its glory years behind it and unfortunately it is slowly moving towards call of war :P (supposedly maybe because a year earlier some employees were delegated from call of war to CoN and here we have a shit effect ... :P )
I'm going to play this winter anyway, but I've stopped taking the game seriously. :)
On the contrary, if you are noob , 1850 points is a lot, but if you are an experienced player, it is nothing... @massimohack1367
I don't know why my parents never let me spend on games?
I keep losing. Once they take your components you cant play!

When you don't like Navy.
Paint it, Black
Great background sound
confusing...the backround.....
Is Romania 🇷🇴 a good country to start?
It is close to strong countries like Ukraine and Poland so you'll need to make alliances
Nice music 🤣
Song ?
The music is paint it black lol
Great game, but I had to uninstall it. My last battle was 82 days solo. I'm done! Happy hunting!
Wow i never been in a game that last longer then 32 days. Granted I've only done 7 games but with 100% win rate.
@@Sharky8186 Yup, me vs entire coalitions, but I pulled off the first place victory do to my consistant activity, diplomacy, and resources management. Don't sleep on max national guard defense. My k/d ratio is a 4.5 iirc.
@@deuced80 Honestly sounds like a damn good game. Granted lasted a long time. Not a reason i would of uninstalled though. I personally would love a hard won game like that.
You don't have to fight or struggle with the enemy at all. Buy gold, develop over 160 nukes and just nuke as much as you can. After you just arrive with an infantry division, you occupy the territory and that's the fastest way.
Bro why are you hating this game so much?
Sorry dude, but it is really hard to focus on your voice with paint it black playing in the background... I keep singing like Mick Jagger! Ditch the music....
Just paint it black I say 😉
I like nuking people with my sub
Woohoo. now I will know how to be better at the game
I know you will! Go get em!
