Hey man, I'm a soldier currently stationed overseas in korea from Tucson, Arizona. Lived there my entire life, I just gotta say I'm so glad I came upon this video in my recommended. I remember my days being on those streets, caught up on whatever drug I was on, hanging out with the other local homeless folks and it's a sad life we've all lived with everyone looking down on you. I'm so happy to see someone as nice as you being good to those on the streets. It is also pretty nice seeing my home again. God bless, hooah!

@@america1403 After seeing firsthand the Red Cross response to hurricane Katrina, I’ll never donate another penny to any established charity except my local food bank, where I have volunteered, a Catholic soup kitchen in my city, and the Salvation Army. Most of my limited charity dollars I spend on direct charity. I just think it’s unfair that the IRS doesn’t allow a citizen to deduct sums spent of direct charity, yet if I gave my money to Benny Hinn that would be a valid deduction.

It's a fact of their life that the majority of them choose. They choose to be homeless and lazy. Waiting for hand outs they whole time being completely able-bodied to work. And it's people this this dude who is enabling them so he can feel better about himself.... if he really wants to help them he should help them get jobs so they can support themselves. Bc when you enable these types of people they become extremely entitled. They disrespect public property and trash any spot they inhabit. It's disgusting.

being some one that use to be homeless, don't forget ALOT of people choose to be homeless. Unfortunately it took for me having to be institutionalized in the hospital +sadly being diagnosed with cancer. Sad to say as a struggling addict, it took something like a real life threatening diagnosis to straighten myself up. Turns out I truly want to live, not proud at all to say it took something like this to start the journey of me hopefully moving on a happier, healthier life. Best wishes to those out there homeless. Don't end up like I did, the outcome being Jails, Institution or Death. You really gotta mean it when you finally feel your ready. Think about that saying "I'm ready". I pray all you make it out okay, don't let it take something like what I went thru to straighten up your life. I'm still here to wish you all the best. take stuff one day at a time. For those who don't understand what it's like being an addict, I would give almost anything to be like you. God bless everyone.
As a former homeless person myself,I thank you for what you do.Wish you were around back in the mid 2000s but I'm kinda glad you weren't.I had to figure things out the hard way.By the grace of God I got a place to live.Been 14 years since then.Not everyone who is homeless a bad person,and the ones that don't act right,need help.I was one of those.If no one helped me out,I don't know where I'd be today.Thank you for what you do.Stay safe brother

I went downtown this past Monday, to see my GP to renew my many meds. (I'm a disabled senior.) I was checking things out as to what's changed. A woman comes up to me crying about how she's not feeling well & needs Tylenol, etc. Long story short I thought about homelessness (thanks to you & "invisible people".) & ended up parting with money (I'm low income) I suspect was used to buy the white powder or rock to smoke. So, I should know better. I'm just a kind person who cares for cats. People, not so much. I'm ultra sensitive so I don't choose to be around people very much. It disturbs my equilibrium. I see how you handle people asking for money; lesson learned. As always 💕 thanks for sharing !!!

@@goodnessinpeople It shouldn't happen again. My doctor is retiring & I've only seen one homeless person one x in my area. I'll not get taken again. In Canada we have no $1 or $2 bills. We have a coin $1=looney & $2 =tooney. (There's a lion bird on the back of these coins) so I'll not ever hand out money that I can't afford. I'm low income senior & I care for feral/homeless cats... that's plenty of cost, right there!!! PS CHECKING NIGHTLY FOR NEW VIDEOS MICHAEL!!! Perhaps you have to edit, etc. I understand none of this & I have no one to kind of guide or explain. I'd probably need a course to learn ... it's not funny as I feel disadvantaged as in disability.

I’ve lived in Tucson my whole life and the homeless situation hasn’t been this bad But when everybody started leaving states like California and moving to Arizona you saw more of what’s on this video now there’s more overcrowding it’s always so sad to see but the Synthetic opium and G got some of these people trapped people Don’t realize that Tucson and Phoenix are two of the biggest drug cities that supply most of the United States with drugs so the homeless always know where to get any amount they want as long as they have a little money

Sorry to tell you but human life has very little value. unless you have a very rare skill, or tons of money. People are just something the super rich use to control and fulfil their agendas and lust for more money and power. They could kill 50 million of us lower class working corporate peasants tomorrow and in just 25 years our numbers would have been replaced by the overbreeders and the continuous waves of desperate immigrants. Therefore we are easily replaceable. We are all competing for what is needed to survive and what is available. The system is rigged so that the super rich ruling class will always get richer and the poor poorer. So those with the money will eventually die and pass their wealth to their offspring. and the beat goes on. We live in a cast society that pretends to portray a fair and level playing field for all the sheeple. Those that are smarter and stronger and the ones who live a more moral and godly existence will have a far better chance to succeed and get their share of the pie, why the people with broken families and who were not told what it takes to succeed and the sacrifice, dedication and perseverance it takes to climb out of the low class rank are bound to become discontent with their meager existence and see very little hope and turn to drugs and alcohol for an escape. We live in a nation that glorifies war and spends more money on training its people to kill and making weapons to do the job faster and more lethal in larger numbers. Now wonder people are giving up and realizing man is sick and cannot survive for long unless we invade, kill, pillage and take over the target territory needed in order to spread out and ease the over crowding and acquire themuch needed resources. The ruling elite of this planet care only about money and power. Therefore we are just expendable pawns who can be given the ax and led to the slaughter in a New York second. Economic warfare has been waged on the divided states of america long ago and I am positive it will only get worse for the majority of us. This is what happens when you are constantly dividing countries and creating war after war to enrich yourselves and to bully other nations into submitting to your demands and power. We are a nation divided by race, political parties and beliefs. ethnicity, sexual orientation, neighborhoods, culture and class. This is no recipe for prosperity. Now that we are the world's largest immigration dumping ground. Things will rapidly get worse. Good Luck sheeple. Our days our numbered. Welcome to the Third World, Divided Muslim States of China. Don't worry the ruling class and rich will just cut and run and buy their way into another nation as they take their money with them. You haven't seen nothing yet.

WHat you do for people is just stunning, showing them humanity, kindness and respect, without judging them in any way. On you tube I see videos where people review a song on youtube and those people get like 800K views in a week and have like 3 million subscriptions. But what you do is 3 million times more important than any of 1000 of these people who review rock music or whatever type of music. I've watched like 10 of your videos today and I'm just stunned.

Hi! I am an outreach worker here in Tucson and am out almost daily city wide trying to get people into treatment and housing. i co-respond with TPD to get people into treatment instead of jail, for 4 years now. I'm a recovering addict myself. been sober for 8 years now. Your compassion is awesome and letting these people know they matter is so important. I like that you give them food and drinks. sad to say money isn't usually helping them. Also, many dont realize but many choose to be homeless and aren't willing to go to treatment or do their part. its sad and i know not everyone is ready at any given time so we offer over and over. i say this just to say there is much more to it and TPD even has their own homeless outreach team, substance use resource team and mental health support team beyond all the clinics and behavioral health sites around town. Tucson is way better off then most in the country if people want help. But more and more become homeless daily because of substance abuse and of course mental health or both. Again im in recovery myself from opiates and meth and got my rights restored and am a peer support etc..I appreciate you caring it's awesome and is changing more lives than you know. Tucson has plenty of help if they choose to do their part and if you meet anyone who is willing I can almost always get them help. and even give a ride myself during the week. or if anyone has questions on the different programs or anything message me or respond if you want my info. keep doing you man. it's inspiring. be safe.
You haven't paid attention. He gives cash to those that probably aren't buying drugs/alcohol. There plenty on the streets that don't have substance abuse problems.

I’ve lived in Tucson my whole life. Right by Udall park. The past 5 years have been the worst, the wash I played in as a kid now has a camp of homeless people almost year round. Ive had at least a dozen friends die, 3 close. I’m not homeless, but without the family I have I’m not sure where I’d be honestly. I used to brush it off, say it is what it is, or what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.. but now at 28, after playing with fire since I was 14 years old, a kid younger than both my little brothers are today, i can say that Tucson isn’t the place I thought it was or want it to be anymore. My dad grew up in Tucson, I grew up in a very different town.
Ty for what you do Michael, this is the first vid I’ve seen of you, but I hope to see you around so I can thank you in person for giving these people the time of day. At the end of the day, most of them are just lost kids with a worried parent somewhere wondering if they’re okay.. 🙏

Yeah that’s pretty obvious but sometimes it’s hard to read. Even for Michael I assume. What bugs me are guys like Scott. When Michael asks him if he likes something he’s given him, he’ll say “ it’s alright “. Ungrateful 👎🏻
