A interesting incident happened when Naushad's wedding rituals were underway, a super hit song from the film Ratan- "Akhiyan Milake Jiya Bharmake" started playing on loudspeakers. The song was a chartbuster.
Despite such melodious music, Naushad’s father-in-law didn’t enjoy it. He got angry and said that such songs are ruining society. He further said that the person who made this song should be beaten with shoes.
निकाह की तैयारियां हो चुकी थीं.गहमा गहमी थी का माहौल था. लखनऊ के उस घर में लाउड-स्पीकर पर उस समय की सुपर हिट फिल्म 'रतन' का गाना बज रहा था: “..अखिया मिला के जिया भरमा के चले नहीं जाना..”.दुल्हे के ससुर ने गाने पर प्रतिक्रिया दी: "ऐसे गाने समाज को बरबाद किये दे रहे हैं..जूते मारने चाहिये ऐसे गाने बनाने वालों को." दुल्हा ये सुन कर सेहरे की आड़ में और सिमट कर बैठ गया,उसे डर था कि अगर उसका राज़ खुल गया तो क़यामत हो जाएगी क्योंकी इस गाने को बनाने वाला वो ख़ुद था. पूरा किस्सा ..............
