    She stole her original designs. She's not an honest or good person.

    Myself and several other smaller no-name artists I know have had our original art removed from sites like amazon, redouble, tee public, etc. simply because our drawings might use the same colors. (Rainbow colors using pink instead of red - nothing special.) So she files copyright reports because she thinks she owns the rainbow. And this is recent.

    The factory is coming back here in AZ where I live , they just repainted everything again and the rainbow characters were standing in front of the building. I am so excited to see what they are going to do considering it's been 11 years since they shut it down. Great video, just wanted to let you know an update on what they are doing!

      Whoa, that's really interesting to hear! I've noticed that LF has been doing more brand collaborations recently. Maybe they'll be launching more new products soon? Thanks so much for sharing this info!

      @@JenniferLanda Your very welcome :) I hope they bring back the stores too, they used to have them in the mall here in AZ too back in the early 2000s when I was only 10,11.

      I drive by it all the time, it’s been repainted for a while, I drove by the front a few days ago, there are windows in the lobby busted and there are no signs of any activity on the property.

      @@Chelsgirl31 it was a tik tok video, the news just picked up on it, who knows what the plans are if anything, would be great if they did come back, just saying as of right now there is not really any activity at the site and it doesn't really show any immediate signs of re-opening but maybe they are trying to get investors first

    Blaming her husband for all the horrible events is bullshit. Lisa is just as toxic and nasty. (Ask ANYone who worked at the FL plant.)

    Being from Tucson I know this Cruel woman personally. Voted WORST BOSS in Arizona several times. She slandered her poor husband who is a nice guy. Lise would lock designers in the workshops. Not let employees use the bathroom. Verbal abusive to staff.

    I just watched that new doc about this and I am really upset about the way she treated people…especially the kickstarter people and that interior decorator creator. I feel like she needs to pay them all reparations. It’s so gross.

Even though this wasn’t my jam back in the 80s because I was a young boy, my wife and I still have nostalgic memories of seeing Lisa Frank EVERYWHERE!!:) As a result, if we see a piece of current day LF merch, we pick it up for our 10 and 5 year old daughters:) Love ya, Jennifer!

    Sounds to me like you’re in love with Lisa Frank and let’s look at the reality of it. My nieces grew up at the exact time when her ex-husband was putting out the most popular products for back to school, etc.. a few years later he’s gone and my niece’s both think Lisa Frank products are outdated, and only people that weren’t in style were buying her stuff. That’s when they started buying school supplies with dragons and Japanese anime on it. Lisa Frank shot herself in the foot and she tanked her own company. Blame her ex-husband all you want lady but when he was running the show, the company was profitable. If anyone wants to know the truth, just look up an interview with her son Hunter Green! He’ll give you the real story on who Lisa Frank is not this woman here…………👎

    • @JenniferLanda
      @JenniferLanda  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      My video is based on court documents and reporting done about 10 years ago. I thought it was a fascinating story because I grew up at the exact time when Lisa Frank's products were most popular. Lisa's son Hunter Green has sided with his father (Lisa's ex). James Green and his son Hunter went into business together, so I can understand why Hunter would want to blame his mother and defend his father. Lisa's other son, Forrest, apparently now runs Lisa Frank Inc. so he has clearly sided with his mother. I haven't interviewed any former employees personally, but it seems like both James and Lisa created a toxic work environment. Perhaps the new Netflix documentary series has the answers you're looking for.
