I'd say the goals mentioned at the beginning of this talk IE: to "discuss Feuerbach's life" in cultural & philosophical context; "to consider his influential thought as expressed in some of his most profound writing" etc.. and "to reflect on the relevance for his thought for those working in theology today"; were not only met but surpassed... The reason for my positive analysis of this brief overview of Ludwig Feuerbach's life & work has to do with the level of interest sparked & maintained via this lecture for lay- persons such as myself (part of the majority of the household of faith) who live & work outside the cerebric realm of theology.
O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, [180] and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfillment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. [181] Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. - 4:171 (Asad)
Nicely crafted overview. Thank you very much. Please include the last missing part.
Thank you....

And how wrong he was. Still, classical Atheists are much more better to Read than new ones
i guess one simply has to have faith ? "Much more better" faith than Feuerbach of cause.
