I hope one of the neat ideas is a dog collar/harness, because it changed my life. I paid someone for a proper leather harness so my tiny guy would survive a big dogs bite, and now I'm leaning back with a cup of coffee in the dog park.

Funny folks pay a lot for stuff they don’t use often but cheap out on stuff they use all the time. This apron is something you’ll use each time you’re in the shop and worth spending extra for. This is why you’re great Jay you worry about the stuff you need to not the stuff you’re not.

Dragonfly Woodworking exactly. It's great that Jay picked your product to use. To me he is the modern day Norm Abram. He explains things and gets me excited to do wood working like Abram did. He doesn't dumb the material down for he's audience but also doesn't over complicate things. This apron is like him simple but thoroughly thought out.

Love your videos for both content and presentation style. Never thought about the advantages of a well designed apron. Amazing. Plus hearing why you pick one tool (square) over another makes me think about what is the best tool for the job at hand. I’m an impatient person and woodworking has helped me to see the virtue of patience 😇. Now I’m rambling.

Jay, if your wife still works at the vet office, have her bring home a syringe case from a 12 and 20 ml syringe. These may work for your marking knife as well and are round. Being round, they may slide into the leather slot a little easier than the square one you have. They also have a bit of a flared opening at the top which may make it easier to slip the knife into the plastic holder. I think I will take some cases home and design a marking knife around the case. Great review on the apron - it looks great and appears to be very well made. The ability to customize/personalize it is a fantastic feature and selling point. Have a nice Thanksgiving tomorrow. Scott

I started wearing a shop apron quite a few years ago. Mostly for metal working back then. Really saved on my clothes. Then I added wearing it splitting firewood that really saved on my clothes. Then when I started blacksmithing I really use my apron to the point that I also got me one made. (Not by the same folks as you, I think mine was IforgeApron.com) I highly recommend a shop apron and a cross strap in the back really takes the stress off of your neck.

I need an apron. If it only holds my e-cigarette, a pencil and a marking knife, it will save me hours of looking for whatever I set down. Also, if I wear it with shorts in the summer I'll look like a flasher, and it's important to give the neighbours something to gossip about, so, you know, bonus!
