Activities hours question - my daughter does color guard and between practices, football games, and marching band competitions she could spend 25+ hours per week on this one activity. This is in addition to all her other activities. When added together we are at 60 hours! Will this look like she’s lying about her hours? Need guidance!

60 hours is a litte crazy ngl... that def gonna raise a red flag. I don't believe it is possible to go to school for 7 hours a day, do homework and do 60+ hours of extracurriculars EVERY week.

@@rivall8105 I totally get where you're coming from! It does sound like a lot, right? 😅 But let's break it down a bit. The idea isn't necessarily to hit 60 hours every single week, but to show a strong commitment and involvement in activities over time. The key is balance and effective time management.
Many students find ways to integrate their interests into their schedules, like combining activities with school projects or using weekends for more intensive involvement. It's about quality over quantity, and colleges appreciate depth and passion in your extracurriculars. So, while 60 hours might seem intense, it's more about demonstrating dedication and making the most of your available time. Keep focusing on what you're passionate about, and you'll be on the right track!
