@@ravenwoolfe It is always a relief when you find them safe. My chickens have pretty much free rein of the property and are always back into their house before dark and the automatic door closes for the night. That is until a friend asked if I wanted another chicken because a family of foxes got to his flock. I took the new girl in and watched her for the first day to be sure she got along with my birds. Turns out she was an escape artist and ring leader. I glanced at the coup cam and there were only a few birds inside. So after a search I found them down by the creek up in the branches of two trees. I went back and got a bucket with some feed and they happily flew down and followed me back home. The new girl must be the pied piper of chickens. I had to check them for a few days but now they are in by curfew. They are funny creatures. One is a little lush, a small barred rock who likes to sample guests drinks. I started her drinking water from my glass but she seems to prefer a little wine.
I am happy for you that you found the little bulls again. I know how it feels when calves break out and you don't find them right away, we had a farm with 200 animals at home..
@@I.equitazione dont know how many kilometers the bulls did. Probably not many become they were in a neighbours’ field. There were hiding down by the river. 🤪
Awe…I love happy endings 🤪!
And what a great group of friends that came to help and support you too.
I am surrounded by lovely authentic people 🍀
I’m glad you found them safe. Animals will always find a way to escape, just give them time. Hopefully you can keep them corralled up.
They have a secure field. It was my mom stake for becoming distracted after I let them out. Won’t happen again tho! Phew 😅
