This is wonderful. Boxed sugar free Jell-O contains maltodextrin which causes blood sugar spikes more than regular sugar so definitely not a keto/diabetic friendly product. Thank you for sharing this.
Never thought of using tea for jello. What a great idea, and I have a whole drawer of the celestial teas and others I like. Thank you for the recipe. 😊
Don't forget that the vitamin C in the lemon juice breaks down at temperatures above 30C. I've just made a liter batch with this in mind. I made it without the lemon juice, then cooled it down to room temperature (water bath) before adding the fresh squeezed lemon juice. Then refrigerate to set.
Great idea! Thank you for inviting us into your kitchen. I thought we were going to be in trouble when you said you love having us in your kitchen, HOWEVER…. But you invited us back! Can’t wait to try this.
Thank you veeeeeeeeery much for this idea, I wanted to incorporate eating jello to intake more glycine via gelatin and was contemplating how to make a healthy version, and it never came to mind to just use tea, this is genius and simple.
Thanks for sharing Mrs.Judy these look delicious! I will be trying these this weekend! I have a box of the celestial sampler fruit teas I will try it out!
i use some of our elderberry flowers to make and elderberry cordial, using fake sugar of course, and then turn that into jello. thanks for the recipe, Judy. it's slowly heating up here in NH.
I love this! The perfect Jello, no more grocery store Jello. How much gelatin might I use to make these into gummies? Do you have an idea? Plus, love how Karl tried to sneak the kitty out and he slipped back in - hahahaha, that was great! Keep kitty in the videos!
I have used cinnamon apple spice tea and it is great. I have been looking for a keto version for some time. I can't have sugar free jello because I am allergic to aspartame. I can only use stevia, sucralose or allulose. Thank you for the recipes.
I have made dietary lifestyle changes and now use gelatin as a snack. I was using store bought "sugar free" gelatin but I still want to eliminate the included malodextrin from the gelatin. I had been thinking similarly about flavouring the product as you did. One thing that I have been doing is using small yogurt containers to hold the liquid gelatin mix. I use a laddle to scoop and fill the cups and transfer the usual 8 cups to the fridge in a small baking pan. It makes a great use of the small plastic cups and gives me just enough gelatin as a treat.

I really like the idea of using tea to bring in color naturally. That’s awesome idea. Your cats cute, by the way… Obviously she likes to go into the cupboards lol I’ll definitely get me some tea I like the idea that thank you so much for sharing
i love C.S. brand teas. i would suggest the ones you thought were a little lacking in flavor., on those ones try doubling the teas bags you put in and see if that doesn't make a difference in taste. and guess what? i actually was thinking about making jello from my teas. and i think you demoed the chia pudding, going to try that as well, thx for sharing.
Oh My God Jesus Thank you So much , I find this Video, I ❤️❤️So Much 👍👍, Very Helpful people because I’m Generation Diabetic and high blood, Thank You too For Judi’s Keto Kitchen 🌷🌷🌷

And I have a question where did you buy the Great Lake Gelatin Unflavored, because I didn’t find in Amazon for Unflavored , please let me know thank you so again.🌷🌷🌷🌷
I probably bought it a while ago on Amazon but don't use it any more. I still use the container and place the gelatin I buy in pouches in the container
Do you have any recommendations for sweetening without Stevia? I’m allergic to Stevia. I get hives all over my face, chest, stomach, back and fronts of my legs. Can I use monk fruit and erythritol?
Wow you are wrong 0.5 cups (8 tablespoons) of gelatin has 1.6 gams of protein so your getting over 200mls of protein with this per serve I don't know how you can say it doesn't have protein
@Liz McLean, you must be one of those people who still believe that groceries on the supermarket shelf are healthy! Are people so lazy now, they can’t be bothered to get back into the kitchen and actually take a few minutes to create HEALTHY REAL FOOD? 🤦🏻♀️ Get back inside you box and be quiet!

Never thought of using tea for jello. What a great idea, and I have a whole drawer of the celestial teas and others I like. Thank you for the recipe. 😊
I add double or triple gelatin and pour in shallower dish for a “knox blocks” treat.
I will have to try this
The best! We make it almost every day. We make a double batch and add 1/2 tablespoons of stevia glycerite
I use fresh squeezed lemons . It’s so delicious!
Do you have a recipe?
how do you make it sweet? lol
@@missthunderstormable Add stevia. :)

Oh Boy. I didn't stop there. Now it's savory jello.
Great idea for jello!
I am SO enjoying your tea jello recipe, which has turned out perfectly every time ... having fun experimenting with various teas & combinations.
You’re just adorable ma’am! I usually get the keto approved jell-o, but thanks to you, I’ll be trying my own asap!😃
Great idea! Thank you for inviting us into your kitchen. I thought we were going to be in trouble when you said you love having us in your kitchen, HOWEVER…. But you invited us back! Can’t wait to try this.
What a wonderful idea. These would also make great popsicles for the summer! The gelatin prevents them from getting too icy.
let me know how it works out
Thank you veeeeeeeeery much for this idea, I wanted to incorporate eating jello to intake more glycine via gelatin and was contemplating how to make a healthy version, and it never came to mind to just use tea, this is genius and simple.
“Didn’t think I liked it until I couldn’t have it”.. isn’t that the story of our lives 😅
I like Cinnamon Apple Spice

Another excellent recipe! Thank you!

Stick to allulose. Sucralose is bad for you

I use small glass jars with lids. Then I know I’m only having a small serving.
I am new to this…
What is a psmf day?
Would love to know.
Your recipe looks so tasty and reminds me of the refreshing taste of a gelatin dessert❣️

Awesome ! Thank you ❤
Simple Truth Organic is a Kroger brand. Harris Tetter is now owned by Kroger. The elderberry blueberry is one of my favorite.
I did not know that Harris Teeter was bought by Kroger
Did you ever make the cherry berry? That sounds delightful.
yes!
Thx for sharing ❤

This is a great option because brand name Jello has aspartame in it.

Genius
Pam’s days?
PSMS days?
Whhhaaaaaattt?!?! I thought I couldn’t have sugar free jello because the gelatin has a lot of carbs!!?! I’m from NC as well!
There are no carbs in gelatin. Pre packaged 'Jello" may have carbs depending on the sweetener used.
I would love to find the dressing/ stuffing that you posted, however I can't find it. Can you help ?
here is the written recipe - video will be coming out in October ketonaturopath.com/keto-bread-stuffing-with-pork-rinds/
Do you have any recommendations for sweetening without Stevia? I’m allergic to Stevia. I get hives all over my face, chest, stomach, back and fronts of my legs. Can I use monk fruit and erythritol?
You can use any sweetener but would recommend a liquid one. I know there is liquid monk fruit / erythritol sweetener. I bought some on Wellevate
What are psnf days. I'm not American so please excuse my ignorance
protein sparing modified fast
😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
what is psmf
Protein Sparing Modified Fast - our program is Precision PSMF
Wow you are wrong 0.5 cups (8 tablespoons) of gelatin has 1.6 gams of protein so your getting over 200mls of protein with this per serve I don't know how you can say it doesn't have protein
I don't use 8 TBS of gelatin. Depending on serving size, there may be a gram of protein but for PSMF days I don't even count it
i hate stevia...
I don't like the taste of granular stevia, but the liquid Better Stevia has no bitter taste - you can use any sweetener you like
Dumb ?. What does PSMF mean.
Protein Sparing Modified Fast - we have a Precision PSMF protocol
Man all of that to make jello!!! Are ppl dumbing down to a point where it takes 15 min to pour water over jello & stir🤣
It is not difficult to make and the ingredients are clean. I don't know of any sugar free packaged gelatin that has a good sweetener.
