      That’s why I added a drawstring. It’s not in the video. You do a simple chain of 140. They stay up if the socks are over pants/leggings. They slouch a little bit if it’s on bare skin.

    Im a bit new to crochet- so ofcourse being me i choose the hardest things to do first cuz thats me haha! But this seemed easy enough, until i got to the sizing part? Im a very visual learner, im having a little trouble understanding where the start of this pattern goes? I assume it goes on the toes… but i dont want to assume and get it wrong and half to restart so if someone could let me know? Im sure ill figure it out, in that case ill just edit this comment i guess- idk im gonna try my best, but these are super cute so i really hope i can figure it out!!!

    I’m so confused. We’re supposed to do 16 rows of 1 hdc if we wear a size ten? And then we do the one where we crochet 1 hdc in 12 stitches then turn?

      That confused me too now idk what to do 😢😢

    • @MessiahGables
      @MessiahGables ปีที่แล้ว

      maybe she says 12 because she’s doing it for a size 7 so do 16 for size 10 then crochet 1hdc in 15 stitches I think she’s doing 12 because with size 7 you do 13 so she does only 12 to leave one for the next row I think

    Okay I’m a little confused. So you have your first few rows and then for whatever size you’re making you do the 13,14,15 etc, as additional onto the first 4 rows you did or is that the total amount of rows? So for a 7 you’ll have 13 rows, 8 you’ll have 14 rows, etc?

    When doing the increases on the front post back post double crochet, how do you start the next row? Are you going into each one of the increase dc's? Or are you treating those both as one stitch?

    • @sharrondabowles-simon164
      @sharrondabowles-simon164  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the next row is an increase row, you add two more DC into the empty space. If the next row is not an increase row, you follow the front post back post dc pattern for each individual stitch.

    • @aija8305
      @aija8305 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sharrondabowles-simon164 sorry i mean... After the increase row, how do I stitch INTO those 2 dc? Do I do a front post into one and a back post into the other? For example: the first time we increase, we go from 27 stitches to 29 stitches? Or do we treat those 2dc as a single stitch so we go from 27 to 28?

    • @reginafisher6218
      @reginafisher6218 ปีที่แล้ว

      @sharrondabowles-simon164 so the fpdc would start in the first dc from rhe increase row. When you get to that part of the video your thumb is covering up the stitch you are working. I purchased the pattern and it is not clear what stitch you start in

    • @reginafisher6218
      @reginafisher6218 ปีที่แล้ว

      After the increase row, you slip stitch to join in the top.of the chain, then fp dc into the first increase stitch, the next would be bp dc into the second increase stitch, then your next stitch should be fp dc. I hope this helped
