The thing I love the most about your videos is that you continuously go back to the same places to declutter/organize! It’s a constant process, not a one and done!
Thanks so much for hanging with me today as I go through every nook and cranny of my kitchen 😮💨! This was quite the job! *Join Thrive Market today to get 30% off your first order AND a FREE gift worth up to $50!* thrivemarket.com/nataliebennett p.s. if you sign up for Thrive Market through my link, send me a screenshot of your order via instagram message and I'll pick a few of you at random to send some coffee to!
I recommend a bin or basket for your fruit drawer so that the juices don't get yucky in the bottom of the drawer, and you can take it out and clean it or wipe it out of it gets really moldy or juicy 🍂🍁🍂🌻🍂🌾🍂
I love the chattier videos! Honestly listening to your thought processes and stories are why I watch your channel vs other cleaning channels. It helps me think through spaces I'm my house and has helped me declutter so much. Plus it feels more relatable getting know you 💜
I have some stainless steel mugs with lids (looks like Yeti, but I got it from Aldi) and I use that to bring warm meals when we're doing sports/activity stuff and we need to eat away from home. They are not spill proof, but the definitely keep warm. I just keep them in a hard sided cooler so they don't tip.
Love how you are honest with yourself about what you will actually use! That can be tough to do but it makes all the difference when that extra stuff is purged! Thanks for the inspo.
It’s crazy to think that you guys have decluttered over 90% of your items yet you still have what you need. It really puts into perspective how much excess we tend to live in without even realizing! I’ve been on my decluttering journey for about 2 years and it is very freeing. However, things will change as a baby is getting added into the mix soon 😍 I’m glad I started my decluttering journey to make the transition into motherhood decluttering a bit easier 😂♥️
I'm currently expecting and wishing I could see how 2022 Natalie would design a minimal nursery/list of baby must haves! Would be an awesome and fun blog post if you're feeling inspired Natalie!!!!!
Thank you! Finally another person who doesn't feel the need or desire to put everything into matching jars/containers. I actually like my pantry better when it looks like a mini store with all the original packages.
The biggest investment that has paid off in spades has been lifeliner shelf liner (plastic ridged liner) it has saved our cabinets so many times from accidental oil spills or rotten potato nasty juice. You have this beautiful new kitchen I would definitely invest in something like this so save your cabinets especially that fruit/veggie drawer.
I know you don’t decant everything but I love putting my chocolate chips in a wide mouth mason jar. They’re the perfect size for a regular bag of chips. Easier to manage for me than open bags (plus I can see the level and how much my hubby has eaten!)
Natalie, as a long time subscriber, I'm so excited for the upcoming season. With the leaves changing, the temperatures cooling (its actually 95 degrees here right now, but we can pretend), and the fall decor coming out, I eagerly await your fall favorites and coffee recipes! My favorite time of the year!
Natalie, I just want to say I am so thankful for you. I feel like I don’t fit in your demographic at all. But when things feel stressful, I find your videos so comforting. ❤️
Thanks! This series has been SO helpful for me in the last few years of watching! I literally was hoping to declutter my kitchen next week, but wanting to start today. During the video, I got the worst drawers that have been driving me insane decluttered, the counters cleared and washed, and cleared and washed my guest bathroom counter! Whew! So motivational!!!
Thank you for addressing the trend to decant everything into clear containers and labelling them, it is a waste of money and resources just for aesthetic reasons. I do not do that either, except for things that will go bad if left in their original packagaing...like cookies. Also, that statment when you said "I am not that mom" truly resonated with me. I am also not that mom, but that does not make me a bad mom, thank you for that
🍂I just retired from my job in The Public Health Service, on my list is decluttering, so I am watching all you decluttering videos and getting inspired !!!🍂
It always amazes me… I regularly declutter too to try and have a minimal home and still I purge more than I expect. Stuff just makes it’s way in without realizing how much and it adds up. It’s regular home maintenance. Love your videos I’ve been here for years now and just love your content. ❤
#NBGiveaway Natalie you were my 1st declutter diva. I was not sure why listening to you made so much sense. Then when you shared your faith, I knew I was in the right place. I've been watching for over 2 years now, and I can tell you that my life is hugely better because of it. I have a "dream team" from YT.
I don’t know if I’m the only mama on here that watches motivational videos while eating lunch or at night time and I don’t clean while I’m watching lol 😆 Love your channel and always have 🥰🙏🏼God bless you!!
I love your chatty decluttering videos. I like to hear you talk out your decluttering. It helps me talk my decluttering out too. I love your videos. Thank you
One of my favorite TH-camrs of all time! I’m decluttering kids clothes now, getting ready for fall! She’s been my inspiration to start a channel of my own, thank you Natalie!
Heyo! Your videos always inspire me to pursue intentionality and calm in my home, but this years fall series has been extra special! I’m looking forward to todays video; thanks for sharing🍁
I don't decant unless it is practical either. I look at the Pinterest worthy pantries and it seems like SOOO much more work. We also haven't used our instant pot since last Fall. It will probably go next Spring. My crockpot is the most used small kitchen appliance that we have. Your kitchen arrangement makes sense. 🍂🍁
I just love your cosy videos. 😍🍂 You're always keeping it real. I've been watching your videos for 2 years and I'm looking forward to them every week. 🥰
I am with you on the seasoning issue. I can't see putting them all in matching containers and then having to also store overstock. I just use the container it comes in. I just did the kitchen a couple weeks ago. It wasn't to bad because I am pretty good about keeping up with it. I keep watching because you keep me going on decluttering. Thanks!!
These videos give me great motivation, so thank you! I'd really enjoy seeing a video/little series reflecting on the changes you've made so far in your home. We're buying and remodelling a house soon and would enjoy feedback on what works the best in your space and why. The kitchen specifically as it's gorgeous! X
Natalie! Your videos are so motivating to me! My kitchen definitely needs a good purge. Thankful you made this video (and all your other videos too, of course 😉). It’s just the push I need to get my rear in gear lol
Love your videos! I would recommend you keep the insta pot. From a brand new empty nester, you’ll find as the kids get older and schedules get crazy busy you will be thankful to have something that you can have dinner in and ready to go. I always used my crock pot, for the nights we didn’t get home till 8 or later and needed dinner still.
Love your cleaning motivation/messy to minimal videos! I especially love the realness of your videos - it is definitely essential to return routinely to declutter spaces! Also, I vote basket for the chocolate chips. Just makes organization so much easier. :)
How refreshing to find someone who doesn't "decant" their spices (and everything else!). I look at those other "influencer" spice cabinets, and yes, they look very neat but I find that leaving most things that come in bottles and jars in their original containers makes it easier to find them when I'm looking for them...the size, shape, labels, colors are quick identifiers for me to grab. With most of the "neat" arrangements, you can only see the labels on the front row...I envision myself having to lift up all the rest one by one to find the spice I'm looking for. Besides, I don't have the time or inclination to do all those transfers, make all those labels, and keep the "decanters" clean.
Lovely video as usual Natalie love your declutter videos. I need to declutter my whole kitchen aswell. I find it get so overwhelming so like you I do a draw/ cupboard at a time 🍂🍁
I love that you vacuum out the drawers and cabinets before wiping them out. I do the same with my Dyson handheld cordless. It is literally my favorite appliance in my house. I just wish it had a longer battery life for my manic cleaning days lol 😂
Serendipitous moments like this make me laugh. I love to make my kids lunches into shapes and scenes. It’s a fun moment in my day. I’ve been cutting all my veggies and fruit shapes by hand. I had no idea those little cutter things existed! Hooray for me!
I love your simplicity and using whatcha got mentality when declutter/organizing!! Where are your glass food storage? The tops look better then the snap on ones.🍂🍁
Natalie…thank you for the decluttering inspiration! My dining room/work from home office/crafting space/home gym has been stressful. Your video prompted me to at least get started. Thanks!!!
After watching these videos I have decluttered some of my most prized items... books!! I love books and have many from childhood to now and really hold onti them just because but I started to feel it was time to really take stock and ask what do I really read, what really means something to me and what cookbooks do I actually cook from!! I now have a curated collection and giving away the others felt really great. Thank you for sharing your process
Hey Natalie I just wanted to say I love your channel! I started watching your videos during the pandemic and your videos were comforting to me on so many levels! Each week your video inspired me to declutter, your family made me smile and your warm nature made me feel safe during a time of absolute chaos. Every now and then I hear music on your video and it reminds me of those times and I just feel so grateful we came out the other side of those times. Thank you!! ❤️ Sending lots of love from Bellingham London UK
I love that you are catty! Listening you makes me so calm. I’ve noticed your paprika is from Szeged! I am from Hungary, but I live 15 years ago in Greece. The moment when I saw Szeged it melted my heart! I think the best paprika is from Hungary!…not because I was born there…but it is the best paprika on the world.. Love your channel! Greetings from the sunny Crete
Great job, Natalie! I have been doing decluttering too! I’m a senior citizen and live by myself and I look at things differently now. I don’t need a lot of this and I am giving it to family or friends and just keeping what I need or want. Keep up the good work.👍🍁🥰💜
One of my few uses for my instant pot is cooking frozen chicken thighs that we buy in a large bag at Costco. We get chicken for the week that way, or basically any meal that calls for chicken. It’s so easy. Frozen thighs, half a cup of water, 26 minutes and release. Then I cook rice in the juices that are leftover!
I’m so glad you mentioned candle making. I was thinking about you the other day with your candle making. Do you add essential oils to your candles? I would to see a video on how you make them!
You guys did such a great job on that kitchen- so lovely 🍂🍂🍂 I have family that is planning a kitchen remodel soon & I showed them what you guys did for some inspiration!
Wow Natalie! Your kitchen is beautiful and things are coming along so well! 🤩 Thank you for sharing your declutter process! So satisfying and I appreciate your realness about, "not being that mom." 😂 These kinds of videos always inspire me! Also, I am looking forward to your cozy fall coffee and baking videos. 🙂Hello Autumn!! 🍂☕🍁
Hi Natalie! I started watching the premier this morning but then got pulled away so I just finished watching your video. Thanks for the motivation as this has been on my to do list too and hope to tackle it by this weekend!
Oh I so need to declutter my kitchen but every time I think about it I feel overwhelmed 🤦♀️ but now I see how you kitchen turned out I am definitely going to get in and do mine. Thanks for the inspiration 😀
Missed the live this morning. 😪 After watching this afternoon though, I've gotten quite a bit accomplished. Thanks for the motivation! I agree with others here, we sure do have more than we truly need in our lives! It's not even about being minimal. Thanks for giving the gentle shake and wake up. Have a great day, Natalie! And thank you for sharing your life with us! ❤
Just a tip that I do, I keep all my chocolate chips in my freezer so they last longer. Same thing with my baking nuts walnuts pecans Etc. If I have a lot of shredded coconut I also freeze that.
Haha things like chocolate chips don't last long enough in our house to go bad! But this IS a great tip. I keep nuts in the freezer than I buy in bulk!
You did a great job! So satisfying to have a tidy organized kitchen. I would love to see/ know how you make your candles. What do you use for the fragrance... essential oils/fragrance oils?? Thanks!
Hi Natalie, I wanted to ask you what do you do with your decluttered items? No one in my family wants the items I have decluttered and I have quite the pile going. Thanks for sharing a part of you life with us.
With regard to the keurig and espresso machine and storing things with hostessware, we definitely run into the same issue at Christmastime in our house because I host Christmas. My husband and I always do french press coffee, and that's the only coffee maker we own. At Christmas morning and other holidays, my brother brings over his coffee maker while I am hosting and that has worked for us so far. As a minimalist, we sometimes borrow needed items for holidays like coffee maker, extra chairs, tables etc. I've even used our neighborhood Buy Nothing group to borrow chairs when I had friends visiting from out of state and needed more seating. 🙂 It's the balance of "should I store this" X " how often do I use this item"? I've concluded that my home is not a storage unit! 🙂 I LOVE this video series, Natalie, keep up the good work and I've been excited to check out your sponsors like Thrive Market and Quince!!!
This has become such a pivotal question for me and I agree, my home is not a storage space, unless I can justify using an item several times a year to bless and serve my guests! I had for years been borrowing my mom’s keurig for get togethers but wanted to take some personal responsibility for the wear and tear all of those times of using it would add to someone else’s machine. So we bought our own. We bring it out at least once a month and therefore can totally justify storing it away when it’s not being used!
@@NatalieBennett I totally resonate with your comment about personal responsibility for wear and tear on items, and I think that is such a good factor in deciding whether to borrow or invest/thrift! I'm moving into a season of hosting at my home beyond annual holidays (now that my little is a bit older I'm delving into tea parties, family brunches, BBQ's). That is definitely a point of consideration I will adopt.
🍁thank you for inspiring me! My husband had major back surgery and when I’m not with him, I need distraction. I decluttering, did a deep clean and organized the fridge. Not much, but what I can handle in my time spurts
I'm with you on the decanting! I like my spices in their original jars bc various brands can be different. Eg: garlic powder from one store or brand is good, but from another can be too harsh. Plus they usually take up less room in the original bottles.
🍁 I have the same Keurig and I love it makes it so easy for my family to make coffee, hot cocoa and hot tea anytime of the day and my 7year old brother can make his own without having to use the stove top.
Hi Natalie you certainly got me up and I decluttered and tidied up feels much better I had you as a friend to work along side with I hope you have a great week your kitchen is beautiful 😍🍂❤
I never miss one of your videos. On my to do list for this week is deep cleaning my kitchen cabinets, they are already decluttered, just needs that wipe down refresh. You are an inspiration, we seem to be in sinc with the Fall cleaning. Btw, my plan is to take all my kitchen towels and hot pads out and wash them just to freshen them up. The hot pads get used a lot and need to get washed .
🍂 Natalie if you have not made a pot roast (beef or pork) in your pressure cooker you are missing out! So tender and from frozen you can cook it in 1.5 hours! Beef roast, 1 cup water and French onion soup mix. Pork Taco meat, 1 cup water, 1 packet of Taco seasoning mix and 1 jar of Salsa Verde shred and you have the best Taco meat. Hope you can try these out!
I had been debating whether or not to take out the fall bins and declutter spring/ summer clothes… and then I saw your video last week, which totally motivated me and I got it done. No joke, I was thinking this morning about decluttering the kitchen and then I see this! Definitely a sign! Lol I’m really looking forward to the fall drinks video! 🤍🍂
Consider getting linings for the non refrigerated produce drawer. There are some on Amazon that also absorb the gases fruits and veggies give off that ripens them faster and can lead to faster rotting produce. That way, you won’t get the bottom of the drawers stained if a fruit or veggie is forgotten and rots.
Will you do a video with the bees wax candle making, last year we made the rolled ones but am loving the idea of melting this or next year? Please! Love your inspiration!
The thing I love the most about your videos is that you continuously go back to the same places to declutter/organize! It’s a constant process, not a one and done!
So true. I saw this video and was like… it’s time for me to revisit my kitchen, too!
Live been thinking this as well lately, we all have to come back and revisit the places we’ve already decluttered.
Thanks so much for hanging with me today as I go through every nook and cranny of my kitchen 😮💨! This was quite the job!

I recommend a bin or basket for your fruit drawer so that the juices don't get yucky in the bottom of the drawer, and you can take it out and clean it or wipe it out of it gets really moldy or juicy 🍂🍁🍂🌻🍂🌾🍂
Yes, or a drawer liner
I love the chattier videos! Honestly listening to your thought processes and stories are why I watch your channel vs other cleaning channels. It helps me think through spaces I'm my house and has helped me declutter so much. Plus it feels more relatable getting know you 💜
I totally agree with your philosophy on decanting! For me it’s all about making things more accessible.
“I’m just not that mom” is so my mantra! I feel that one, girl! 🍂
My pantry is mostly organized, but it does need a reset. So this is giving me the motivation to actually get it done.
Right?! It's crazy what we think we need in comparison to what reality is! And that's going to look different for everyone!
🍁🍁🍁I couldn’t find the emojis that you wanted so I just used this one Lol
Great suggestion!
You’ve inspired me to decluttering our Tupperware/lids, and get rid of what’s mismatched!
Anyone else want a messy bow bun tutorial?? Your hair is so cute!
I know you don’t decant everything but I love putting my chocolate chips in a wide mouth mason jar. They’re the perfect size for a regular bag of chips. Easier to manage for me than open bags (plus I can see the level and how much my hubby has eaten!)
Haha sneaky hubbies!
Yes! I do this exact thing too. In my case, it's also the hubs that is always getting into my chocolate chips. (And we have kids!!) LOL
Natalie, as a long time subscriber, I'm so excited for the upcoming season. First time watching your videos. Very nice and inspiring!
Loved this, I managed to get 2 kitchen drawers and 3 dresser drawers cleared out, decluttered and reorganized whilst watching this video! Thank you 💕
Just a suggestion: you may want to add some kind of plastic liner in fruit/veggie drawer:) to keep drawers clean ❤
Natalie, I just want to say I am so thankful for you. I feel like I don’t fit in your demographic at all. But when things feel stressful, I find your videos so comforting. ❤️
I love how your share your thought process as your declutter. Another amazing video from Natalie!
Oh thank you!

I just randomly found her channel in my recommendation now i'm obsessed with her videos She's so freaking talented.♥️🍡💗💗💕🍨🍨🥰🥰💖🍧🍭💘🥳🎡🎂💞

Yes me too
Found her randomly and obsessed with her videos and chats she does … feels like a friend ❤
Happy fall 🍂... Thanks for the decluttering motivation!!
Hi Natalie! It’s amazing to me to see these revisits and to see how much you declutter! This makes me want to declutter my own kitchen too! 🍂

I’m so glad you mentioned candle making. I was thinking about you the other day with your candle making. Do you add essential oils to your candles? I would to see a video on how you make them!

🍂 I just did my kitchen and pantry the other week too. It feels so good!
Missed the live this morning. 😪
After watching this afternoon though, I've gotten quite a bit accomplished.
🍂I love your channel. ❤ I doing my laundry and sipping coffee as I watch. 🍂
i'd love to see how you make candles!!
You did a great job! So satisfying to have a tidy organized kitchen. I would love to see/ know how you make your candles. What do you use for the fragrance... essential oils/fragrance oils?? Thanks!
I absolutely love your dinty paperclip necklace!!🍂
A friend gave us those Oui yogurt glasses and we use them every single day for drinks for our toddlers. One of my favorite free items recently.
Thank you for another great video! They're lways so encouraging and motivating 💗
I am noticing your under sink garbage bag roll dispenser and thinking genius! Can you share how you/where you acquired it?
🍂 I did some fall decorating while listening to you. Thank you!
My spice cabinet is definitely eclectic 😅 I love an organized space but I’m also VERY practical 😆
Keep it going Nat. God is Good.
🍁thank you for inspiring me! My husband had major back surgery and when I’m not with him, I need distraction. I decluttering, did a deep clean and organized the fridge. Not much, but what I can handle in my time spurts
Awesome video ❤
I'm with you on the decanting! I like my spices in their original jars bc various brands can be different. Eg: garlic powder from one store or brand is good, but from another can be too harsh. Plus they usually take up less room in the original bottles.
Tuesday morning parties are my favorite ❤
🍁 I have the same Keurig and I love it makes it so easy for my family to make coffee, hot cocoa and hot tea anytime of the day and my 7year old brother can make his own without having to use the stove top.
Hi Natalie you certainly got me up and I decluttered and tidied up feels much better I had you as a friend to work along side with I hope you have a great week your kitchen is beautiful 😍🍂❤
Lol 😂 I have video proof! 😂love it. I need to re-do my kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
Very encouraging always a drawer o closet to de clutter .never ending
I never miss one of your videos. On my to do list for this week is deep cleaning my kitchen cabinets, they are already decluttered, just needs that wipe down refresh. You are an inspiration, we seem to be in sinc with the Fall cleaning. Btw, my plan is to take all my kitchen towels and hot pads out and wash them just to freshen them up. The hot pads get used a lot and need to get washed .
Love you videos. Miss the coffee making and recipes!
Totally ended up in my kitchen along with you, Natalie!! Lovely video as always!! 💕🍂
