Parents shouldn’t blame their young children for having problems. A parent’s job is to offer support and guidance to help navigate their child through the difficult years of childhood. Pointing fingers at the child and saying he’s not “normal “ only adds to the problem.

Anyone who has watched Nanny 911 or SuperNanny knows that child behavioral issues are 99% of the time due to the parents who fail to properly engage with and exercise control over their children. It's a sad situation for parents to deal with, but failure to fully deal with a situation early allows it to become worse as the child grows older. Resistance is futile!

    • @byhislove
      @byhislove 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

also many parents do not spend quality time with their children, they spend time gaming, on the phone, doing busy work, working, running errands. The children need quality time, to be listened to, validated...the behavior is to attract attention they will get it one way or another. At 3, kiddos do not understand that putting milk in the fish bowl will kill the fish, they are curious. anyways...

Boiling a fish to death at 3 years old? After killing one with milk? That seems pretty extreme to me. The milk was probably not that unusual but after learning it killed a fish he then thought up another way, an arguably more torturous one, to kill another fish? Again, at the age of three. To have that level of malice and intelligence working together was definitely a sign of what was to come in the future without proper intervention. Possibly even with it given that the persistent violence was a characteristic he displayed at such a young age, before video games or peer influences or any "outside" influences were involved. I think it's miraculous he made it to the age he did before killing someone. His family should be thankful they were spared.

"His father was interviewed for the tv show, Evil Lives Here, and provided a long list of Tyler's bizarre or "evil" behaviour." Sounds to me like his parents exaggerated and embellished upon his behaviors, and maybe even encouraged his behavior to gain attention to themselves and their so-called plight. They wanted to get on tv, get attention, maybe write a book. They likely encouraged his behavior. Similar in a way to Munchausen's by proxy....

I have to wonder if this is a case of a self fulfilling prophecy? The father seemed to WANT to associate Tyler's behavior with demonic/ evil influences. A doctor/ therapist suggesting ice water treatment for disobedience seems odd to me. Perhaps Tyler needed some help coping with his aggressive behavior, but never seemed to get appropriate care or intervention. Sad to have two lives lost this way. A waste.😢

Very timely. I watched an episode of law and order yesterday about a psychopathic boy . His behavior escalated similarly to Tyler.
His parents did not want to face the truth but eventually they agreed to commit him to a facility.
It seems they committed Tyler a couple times and he seemed to get better but many many psychopaths appear charmingly normal like the long island architect that no one suspected of being a serial killer.
I think his wife's behavior released all that pent up malevolence and by then it had been building so long that Tyler no longer cared about consequences.
It's interesting. Never heard of people with the actual name Both. I thought the star trek writers made it up.
Life imitates art or vice versa.
The star trek borg were a race of psychopaths who prided themselves on lack of emotion, empathy-human traits they disdained. They killed or assimilated others with a ruthless efficiency.
As far as Tyler getting religion in prison. I highly doubt it. I'm betting it's a survival tactic in prison-another act.
Tyler is right where he belongs. Locked tightly away from society. He'd kill again in a heartbeat.

"Renaissance Demonology and the Tragic Life of Tyler Borg"
How is it possible that a three year old child could meaningfully state "I hate Jesus." These words could not possibly mean anything to him and coming from a three year old one is obviously led to wonder whether the adult videos his father buried in the backyard before destroying had some influence over the household. But this takes us far from our topic- the advent of Renaissance demonology and the tragic fate of Tyler Borg.
1.) Leon d"Alexis held that there is something in common when we consider the plight of human beings expelled from the Garden of Eden and the 'demons' banished from heaven. "The connection between human kind expelled from earthly paradise and the devil banished from heaven is founded on their common accident." Here the word 'accident' plays a duel role: that which is incidental to human nature and that which happens for no obvious reason-like pouring salad dressing on toys.
2.) According to Armando Maggi (Satan's Rhetoric, 2001) "The Foe announces his presence first and foremost in the mind." Here is how it works: God has spoken (in Genesis) by declaring that there is light. This light is the world of things created by God's speech. The human being is only capable of the language of voices- the ability to articulate sounds in some order but not necessarily connected to reality. The demons speak a "non-language." In other words, they speak a "language of mind" which states nothing but emptiness. This emptiness causes depression. Depression is a clear sign of possession by a negation. In other words, the depressed does not live in reality, but the non-reality of demonic emptiness.
3.) Unfortunately Tyler's household was a place of emptiness.
    Thank you.

I find it very interesting that Tyler would attack Justin. Tyler’s wife’s behavior would have been the same, regardless of the male interest. If marriage didn’t stop her with Justin, she would have continued to select outside partners, so I find it extremely ignorant for Tyler to murder the man she selected instead of murdering her, the unfaithful wife. His anger was entirely misdirected. She was clearly the one at fault.

  • @drea4195

Making messes with crayons and pouring salad dressing on toys doesn't sound all that worrisome or unusual to me. Seems more like one of those things a kid will do because they don't know better, and then they learn. Same with pouring milk in the fish tank. Even raising the tank temp could easily have been an innocent mistake, depending on how young he was at the time.
I think the father had a lot of issues himself, and was projecting quite a bit onto his young son.
Sadly, mental health issues are often inherited genetically, and it surely doesn't help if at least one parent is already unhinged as they raise the kid. Tyler's dad almost certainly contributed to his son's declining mental health with each passing year. What a tragic family.
