Seriously, why did they take him out of the booth and give us whatever blobs we have now. He's my second favorite NFL Commentator. He's serious, but brings such an energy with him, that he gets you hyped for every play, even if it's miniscule. Ian Eagle, my favorite NFL commentator is similar to him. Ian is just more descriptive

Is there any chance tess will still call some NFL games?
I don’t think so. If you mean about the 2 MNF Games in week 1, i don’t think the 2nd game will have Tess as the announcer, they’ll probably go with beth mowins which i hope that doesn’t happen or Steve Levy like last year’s game
Man i really hope tess still calls some big games regardless if its mnf or not he brings so much adrenaline to the fans watching a shame they let him go just because he was paired with booger

I think he's gonna end up being a God on Monday Night Football they need to keep him in there as long as possible. Watch this guy becomes a legend in 5-10 years. So far he's the most exciting A-game play-by-play man on NFL television right now.

Idk but whatever game this guy announces they are always great games
After his dismissal from MNF I had to come back on to listen to these calls. It just seemed to me that his fiery catchphrase calls just didn't match well with the NFL. That stuff you can say in college. Not the pros where grown men are being paid millions of dollars to play a game. Both him and McDonough are only meant to be college announcers. And somewhere right now McDonough is saying to Tess "Told you this MNF gig wasn't so much fun. Great to have you back in college where you belong".
Even Joe couldn't make the Dodge Caliber sound cool when it was a prize up for grabs in a professional boxing match.
They just confirmed Tessitore out of the booth for the year.
It's a good thing my team isnt playing Monday night.

If anybody here is curious if Joe is knowledgeable about the wrestling business, check out the 1on1 interviews ESPN did for WrestleMania 40. Joe did the interviews and they were really well done. He knows the business very well or perhaps he just really did his homework! Either way seems like a good pick up for WWE.

I doubt that. No offense to Gus Johnson, who is still a good announcer and can be entertaining at times, but it seems like all he does is scream into the microphone and call it a day. Tessitore's calls are more memorable, not because he just screams, but because he stays composed, and lets his calls stay short and sweet, kind of like Vin Scully.
I like both of them but I like Joe more. Don’t get me wrong, Gus knows how to pump a crowd up and make you enjoy your time but sometimes his yelling gets annoying at times and it feels like he’s just yelling. Joe’s voice is what does it for me and he makes it short and sweet to the point.

That is my least part as well. When that moment comes on I turn it off. Cause Michigan had that game won but Brady Choke and his BS coaching staff gave it away. Penn State should never have won that game.
Yep, exactly, bad play-calling and missed kicks as well. I would do the same as you when it’s on replay, penn state also wasn’t as much of a dynasty then like now.
@@mlaberge your right about that. Plus to me Penn State isn't the B10 Champion for the 2016 season. Michigan is. They just got cheated out of that game all cause of the bad officiating that took place in our game with the Buckeyes. They wanted PSU in that game cause of everything that had happened to them. So in their own power they did everything to cheat the Maize and Blue out of the B10 Championship. That was so wrong. It was one of the most greatest travesties and rigged events that i can ever remember. Michigan is the REAL B10 CHAMPS!!! Not Penn State.
Evan Hullinger yep, you are correct on that. We got cheated out for sure that entire game and hope it is a true win this year in Columbus to keep shaking the times off.
My dad said there was a trend today that Michigan is favorited by 3.5 in the last game if they played Ohio this weekend.
