Live was hella unrated, they just gotta fix basketball defense and mechanics overall. Especially defense cuz even if you time the shot right you couldn’t block it at times. So if they had a way to upgrade everything in your build, like all your attributes, it’s great tbh

NBA LIVE is better in terms of overall content, NBA 2K is better in terms of gameplay and mechanics. In this scenario, I very much prefer gameplay and mechanics above anything else. So, I’ll stick with 2K. Not jumping on the Live 19 hype train -_-

Live is a low key amazing game..they shit on 2K in everything besides mechanics. I have way more fun playing Live than 2K even today. It’s hard to explain but to me it feels like 2K was made by a corporation for max profits, but Live 18 feels like it was made by hoop heads. The World Tour, Live Events and Live Runs are way more fun than playing 2K online.
Literally fix dribble mechanics, add a jump shot creator, a slightly better build system, a story and it’s better than 2K🤷🏾♂️
Yup live was always a better simulation of the actual game of basketball. 2k more "arcadish" live just lacking in all the other stuff. The extras commentary crossover different jumpshots and movements that vary by person and yea it would be the best basketball game out

NAH. I actually prefer how Live handles The One over MyCareer. There's significantly less fluff, none of those cheesy and cringe-worthy cut scenes, and thankfully there's no hub world filled with the brim with nonsense designed to keep you busy. I hop into Live and play. I've maxed out one character and created another to reach 92 in just under two weeks without spending a dime. Literally everything can be earned in-game. That alone makes Live a more enjoyable experience than the greed fest that NBA2K has become...and that's saying something because Live is made by EA!!
