Honestly, some of these amps are gorgeous, the organic meshing the capacitance. If I lived in Canada would have bought one, and my Yamaha would have an agy upgrade. Now I am 5 amps in and with my hearing it is all good.

I'm a massive fan of this and have had similar ideas come into my mind over the years. Would love to contribute in some way, like donating amps, which would also help me declutter and heal from hoarding issues. Totally into resourcefulness and reuse, but most importantly, I love colourful art. I'm in Australia and amps are heavy, but this project is worth investing in!
Thanks for your kind thought. The shipping cost from Australia to Canada is short of crazy. I have sent a Funky to Australia in this September via UPS and cost over USD550.00. I couldn't send the Funky amp via Canada Post because the dimensions were about 5cm over their limit on all three side. Only way to make it more acceptable is to send only parts it still will cost quite a bit on shipping.
@@angela-gilbert Oh wow, those guys must be making a killing! What a shame... still, I might start looking into ways around this predicament! Anyway, I hope your inspiration continues because I can see the least expensive offerings turning out to be the most highly valued and sort after and that's very cool. Even cooler is the fact that you're not doing things the other way around and making the funky stuff the least accessible, so there's a chance for a guy like me to get in early... once I work out the logistics!
