Unfortunately I cannot read it in the original Spanish, however, in my opinion Gregory Rabassa's English translation is perfect. A biography of Gabriel Garcia Marquez I highly recommend is A Life by Gerald Martin. Also 'Gabo's' memoir Living to Tell the Tale, needless to say. I am a huge fan of his work. One Hundred years of Solitude is always on my nightstand. A definite title to take to the deserted island. Thank you very, very much again!!
